I bought a 2tb black hard drive that ethan recommended me, and plugged it in, my disk management says it is working properly, but that is the only place it shows up, any reason why?

It isn't going to change the quality of your photos or anything, if it stands up and stays still it's perfect.

I want it to do more than stand still, such as be able to go to different heights, and be move able at the top for different angles and such.

You don't need some custom made deluxe ultra-light v-200 model for your exact type of camera, any old tripod should do as long as it fits the plate thingy that you attach to the camera.

Some are stuffty quality as anything could be, i am just looking for a nice one.
