The problem is that you cant merge any sort of bricks together, just those ones, but that still seems useful

« on: March 17, 2015, 12:16:20 PM »Maybe it would only be for the standard bricks like 1x height, 3x height and 5x height and you can scroll the length somewhat like the system in brick scroll mod.
If it were for the 1x1 blocks only, that would be pretty useless, why would you merge a 1x1x1 with a 1x1x3? That wouldnt make a new shape at all, unless you were using ramps or irregular shaped blocks, it would be useless

How would duplicating merged blocks work? Wouldnt there still be 2 (or more) blocks, but merged?

Personally I liked terrain and maps, and I'd still play with them in the game, however due to the engine and how shaders and terrains are coded, then having both would kill most players' FPS. So, no, I am in fact not stating an opinion when I say they are piss poor.
Sorry i thought you were talking about the map itself being poor :P
