here's a cool story
i was on my friend's server. not many people were on it. suddenly this guy named Fungusamongus with BL_ID 44599 and IP 37.221.173.229 (likely to change) joined our server saying he ddosed blockland and that stuff. we didn't believe him at first, but, then i recorded this.
he threatened that if he sees any drama about this he will ddos the poster as well as blockland.

i don't care if you believe me about this or not, but i swear i never tampered with my wifi, firewall, etc during the video. if you don't believe me about that, that's fine. true or fake, i just want to let you guys know about this.

why does this guy hate this game? sure a lot of children play this game, but some older people like to build lego-like builds (don't sue pls).

asked my teacher today and he gave me a bit of an answer.
it's actually a group of people coming to visit my class, sadly. he said what company they worked for and it wasn't anything like blockland or garagegames. topic being closed. sorry i got your hopes up. :v

so in school, i have a technology class where we use computers to do cool things.
this week he told us a guest was going to be coming to our school next tuesday and they know a lot of programming. he doesn't know their name yet.
today our teacher gave us a survey to fill out. it had questions like "do you have any experience with computer science?" and "do you think computer science could get you a job?" but on the top of the paper it said google.
i asked my teacher if the guest was from google and i believe he said no, but he comes from eugene and knows a lot of programming. if you didn't know already, badspot lives in eugene oregon.
now since i live in a suburban town about 10 miles from there, i got highly optimistic about the possibility of badspot being the person coming to my school. if it is, what should i ask him? (i'm in 8th grade if that changes anything)

That's environmental settings, not a sky add-on.
alright, but i said that because he asked
how can I make the atmosphere files and stuff?
but if he means actually putting the pictures he has into his environment add-on, he should probably look in the default environment add-ons to see what the image files are called. they have to be 512x512 px in size iirc

xalos was just talking about opening up an atmosphere file and editing it from there, but i think there are max values that some people don't know right off the bat.
here's a function that rotondo talked about in his gamemode reference:
  • saveEnvironment( %fileName ) - This will save your current environment settings to a text file, has to be in a folder.
    Example: saveEnvironment( "config/mySettings.txt" );
so just load up a blockland server/singleplayer and change your environment settings to your liking. then put the saveEnvironment command in console.

i think physics is like, hardcoded into the game. the oncollision function is probably to tell any packaged function that a player/bot collided into something else and decide if something should be called to it (i.e. bouncing balls probably call the addvelocity function). and by hardcoded, i don't mean badspot wrote it. correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe physics comes from the Torque engine itself, not scripts badspot made.

something is going on. i opened up blockland and it took longer to "write files" while in the launcher. but i can authenticate perfectly fine. also no update message or anything so don't get your hopes up

i can also see the servers so i can confirm the master servers are (back) up
