So last night I was on my friend's server and I was building terrain bricks, then I went afk for a sec. I came back and made a ghost brick, but the print on it changed to a desktop of a Windows XP computer. No, this isn't that print with the time being 6:66, the ghost brick's print was actually some desktop of that computer. The start button had some happy face on it, but the image was very low quality and I couldn't see much from it. I placed the brick and it was just blank (the print I was using before the "easter egg"). My friend told me about it and he said it was some easter egg. Is it one of those one-in-a-million easter eggs like "Minecraft" will be "Minceraft" in a 1/10000 chance you start Minecraft? I would like more details about this, cause my friend did not explain much.

So I was on Tez's Slopes CTF server, and I kept headshotting this person called Venturian. He started to get mad, and after a couple of kills this happened:

I kicked him because he was practically raging at me in the same caps. His ID is pretty high so that probably explains it. Just watch out for him because he might lose his temper.

So about a few months ago I made Trouble in Terrorist Town in Blockland. I can't really host it 24/7, so some time ago I brought it up with Tezuni. We just need some maps to play on. So, I'm starting a mapping contest.

DOWNLOAD: This is the development kit needed to make a map for the gamemode.

This uses Tier Tactical for weapons. It also requires Duplicator and Fill Can for building needs. Also requires addItem for giving items. Here are the events used for Traitor testing and Traitor traps:
  • Brick(tester)>tester_setEnabled: Sets if the current T-tester works or not. Useful for breaking the tester.
  • Brick(tester)>TTT_tryTraitorTest: Tries to perform a test with the current tester.
  • Brick>setTraitorTrap: Sets if a brick is a Traitor trap or not. (Traitor traps are traps that Traitors can activate to kill Innocents/Detectives in them)
    Tickbox tells if the brick is a trap or not, the text entry is the trap name.
  • Player>killByTrap: Kills a player on a brick, and adds "<killer> killed <victim> with <trap>" The trap name only works of the player is on a trap brick.
Note: There can only be one Traitor tester in the map. Sorry!
Input events:
  • onTraitorTest: Called when the current tester is attempting to test.
  • onTraitorTestTraitor: Called when the tester's result is a Traitor.
  • onTraitorTestInnocent: Called when the tester's result is an Innocent/Detective.
  • onTraitorTestFailed: Called when the tester is unable to perform a test.
  • onTraitorActivate: Called when a Traitor activates the brick.
  • onPlayerTouchTrap: Called when a player touches a trapped brick.

Me and Tezuni will pick the top 10 winners of the contest. This contest will end on January 1, 2013. The time the contest will end is currently TBA. To enter your map into the contest you must put it in a .zip the same way with SpeedKart maps. Title it: TerrorTown_<mapname>. A credits.txt is also okay.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to some system where servers can securely and non-abusively have their own GUI for clients.
RTB has that. More info here.

Also for people asking for faster shaders, it's not really going to happen. Shaders are meant for people with good or great graphics cards. If you can't run them, buy a better graphics card. That's what I did, and I'm glad I did.

Since I'm talking about shaders now, I guess v22 should have lights that can be cast from bricks, and cast shadows as well. But there should be a client-side option for those to be rendered so starfishs don't spam them in freebuild servers and crash anybody that joins them.
