Off Topic / I Need Halloween Costume Ideas

Usually, I have some idea of what I want to be for Halloween around mid-July.  No such luck this year.  Halp!

A few things to keep in mind:
1.  I'm slightly overweight.  I can make myself look fatter, but not thinner.  No skinny characters.
2.  I have glorious muttonchops, and I'm a little reluctant to shave them.  If need be, I'll do it, but I won't be particularly happy about it.
3.  There is no way in hell that my parents would let me dress up as any kind of zombie.  Ever.
4.  No animals.  Yes, I am a furry.  No, I don't have the time to even start making any part of a fursuit.
5.  I have some interesting tools at my disposal.  I have a large black robe, and I coat my hands in molten wax on a regular basis as a medical treatment for my skin condition.
6.  I have a skin condition that causes the flesh on my hands to peel off.  When they get really bad, they look like zombie hands.

Off Topic / Finally making that robe...

So I'm working on that black robe I was planning on making.  It's mostly done, but I need more fabric for certain parts of it.  I've got the robe itself almost done, but there are some additional layers and details that I'll add later.  For some unknown reason, I get a boner every time I wear it...  So, yeah...  :l  It's pretty awesome.  I'll post pics when I've sewn up the left side.  I'll post even more pics when it's actually finished.

EDIT:  I kind of look like the Wind Waker version of Ganondorf when I wear it.

Games / Let's Play System Shock 2 [Episode 2 Completed]

So, I've decided to do a let's play of System Shock 2 for the PC. In 2006, System Shock 2 was named 9th scariest game of all time. It's very similar to BioShock, but it's a hell of a lot harder, and was released in 1999. It became incredibly obscure due to the fact that it had to compete with Half-Life. New episodes will be made on Wednesdays (and occasionally Mondays), and released very early on Thursdays (and occasionally Tuesdays). If I sound like an idiot, it's because I'm talking without thinking in order to keep the videos interesting.

Off Topic / Who Would You Want To See a Movie With?

I'm mainly posting this because I'm incredibly bored, so don't flame/troll me or anything like that.  It's simple.  Just post a list of people you would like to go to the movies with (regardless of whether it's just as friends, or on a date), and why.  They don't have to be in any particular order.  I'll start.

1.  Squideey.  Squideey just seems like someone who would be fun to hang out with.  I imagine him being like "that one guy" in the theater who just sits there and says funny stuff during the movie, but a lot more random.  I think it would be interesting to hear what he has to say about Voldemort's death in the new Harry Potter film...  Probably something about confetti.

2.  Eksi.  Because you can't have Squideey without Eksi.  Also, he's awesome.

3.  Night Fox.  Why?  Because he's a coolbro, that's why.

4.  This guy, especially if something happens during the movie that causes him to flip out and fly into a rage.  Why?  Because it would be hilarious to watch him shouting at everything.

5.  Chuck Norris.  Who the forget wouldn't want to go see a movie with Chuck Norris?

6.  Emma Watson.  Do I even need a reason?  She's Emma freaking Watson, why do you think I want to go to the movies with her?

7.  Steven Spielberg.  It should be no surprise that his taste in movies is impeccable.  He once said that Castle of Cagliostro was "one of the greatest adventure movies of all time," and I'd have to agree with him on that 100%.

8.  David Tennant.  My reason?  See "Chuck Norris".  David Tennant is awesome, and that is my only reason.

9.  David Bowie.  He's one of my favorite musicians.  He's also really weird, but he's still pretty damn awesome.

10.  David and Liz Lillie.  Why is it that all the most awesome people are named David?  Dave and Liz are the creators of the Dreamkeepers series, which is awesome.  Although it is a furry comic, most of the fans aren't furries.  Maybe that's just because it's so awesome.  I really think you should check it out.

Off Topic / I'm Seventeen Now, Bitches! :D

It has finally happened.  On Friday, July 29, 2011, I turned seventeen.  Sadly, all I got was $70 and one of these.  I went to the Celtic Festival and spent $20 of the $70 on the most badass t-shirt ever.  I intend upon spending the remaining $50 on Portal 2 in the morning...  Oh, and I almost forgot, this and this are what I had instead of a cake.  As you can see, Applejack sort of sank into her pie, as the filling hadn't set properly and remained a liquid.  Pinkie Pie kept falling over, too, but at least the pie supported her weight fairly well.

And I need some suggestions.  First of all, here's what I've got so far:

Yeah, it's based on Altair's tunic from Assassin's Creed.  Also, please pardon my horrible photoshop skills.


It's probably going to have this design on the back, but I don't know what color the design should be in.

Also, this symbol is obviously based on the Hylian crest from the Legend of Zelda.

Give me suggestions as to what else I should do to it.  I intend on eventually making this.

System Shock 2 is a 1999 first-person action role-playing game, designed by Ken Levine for Microsoft Windows. The title is a sequel to the 1994 PC game System Shock, and was co-developed by Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios. The sequel was originally designed as a standalone title with no relation to System Shock; minor story changes were made when Electronic Arts—who owned the System Shock franchise rights—signed on as publisher. System Shock 2 was released on August 11, 1999 in North America.

The game takes place on board a starship in a cyberpunk depiction of 2114. The player assumes the role of a lone soldier trying to stem the outbreak of a genetic infection that has devastated the ship. Like System Shock, gameplay consists of first person shooting and exploration. The game also incorporates role-playing system elements, where the player can develop unique skills and traits, such as hacking and psionic abilities.
System Shock 2 received positive reviews when released, but failed to meet commercial sales expectations. In retrospect, many critics have determined the game to be highly influential, particularly on first person shooters, and far ahead of its time, and inducted it into several "greatest games of all time" lists.  In 2006, GameTrailers.com named System Shock 2 as the ninth scariest game of all time.

PLOT:

The story begins in 2114, forty-two years after the events of System Shock. After joining the United National Nominate, the protagonist — Soldier G65434-2 — is assigned to the Rickenbacker, a military spacecraft. The Rickenbacker is escorting the Von Braun, an experimental faster-than-light (FTL) starship, on its maiden voyage. As the Rickenbacker does not have an FTL system of its own, the two ships are attached together for the trip.  A few months into the journey, the ships respond to a distress signal from the planet Tau Ceti V.  This is when things go horribly wrong.  The soldier awakens in a cryo-tube on the medical deck of the Von Braun with amnesia due to a computer malfunction. He is immediately contacted by another survivor, Dr. Janice Polito, who guides him to safety before the cabin depressurizes. She demands that he rendezvous with her on deck 4 of the Von Braun.

Suggestions & Requests / MLP:FIM Playertypes

Basically, what the title says.  Troll me if you dare, but remember that I am a complete ass when trolled.  Yes, I know I probably seem like a dumbass when I post about ponies outside of a pony thread, but bear with me here.  A list of the playertypes:

Main Characters:

It would be cool if other players could ride them (except Celestia, Luna, and Nightmare Moon).  Colors should be changeable on all but the main characters. It would also be cool if the coat color changed based on the player's body color, and the color of the mane changed based on headgear color.

I was originally going to send this as a PM to Barakuda, but then I decided to post it here.  I'm in a bit of a rush, so I'm not really going to post very many details, but I'll as much as I can.  It's an idea I had a LONG time ago, and I hope that, eventually, it gets made. (Note:  Yeah, I like the new design for the Silurians better than the old design.  The only thing I don't like about the new design is that their reptilian faces are masks, rather than being their actual faces.  Just, give them back their third eye or something.)

Impossible Creatures is a real-time strategy game released on December 29, 2002 developed by Relic Entertainment in conjunction with Microsoft Game Studios. Its unique feature is that the armies used are all created by the player. The armies consist of 9 creatures; each one is a combination of any two animals from a list of 76 , resulting in 127,392 possible combinations with all official mods downloaded. Many animals possess inherent abilities to add more strategic depth to the game. There is an extensive single-player campaign as well as online multiplayer functionality with different game modes, add-ons, custom maps, mods, and scenarios.  Impossible Creatures was followed up later by a free downloadable expansion entitled Insect Invasion which added new creatures and abilities to the game.

Games / Games You Want Remade for 3DS

Well, now that the 3DS has come out, there will be 3D remakes of a couple old N64 games, such as Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64.  I was thinking about these, and then I started thinking about other games I'd like to see remade for 3DS.  So, post games that you'd like to see on the 3DS here!  They don't have to be N64 games, but it would be best if they were on some Nintendo system.  Feel free to link each list item to a video of the game.  I will, but it's optional.
