Hey Saber, what car are you running in the R2 Championship series? I've been playing around with the Audi TT-R, the Aston DBR9 GT1, the McLaren F1 GT1, and the Nissan IMPUL GT-R, as well as an Audi R8 I upgraded the forget out of. I can't find one I really love.

i just take whatever pops up first, lol. i bought a mazda furai and it's p awesome but not particularly fast on the straights.

on lowest or ultra?

I am looking for the cheapest PC build (or atleast, a video card thats really cheap) that can run BF3 on Ultra-high graphics. My cousin got a 2,000$ PC and I got kind of jealous, and there is the factor that I would like to run games on full graphics without my PC stuffting. I can run GTA IV on VERY low graphics and on 800x900 resolution.

My resolution is 1800x900, incase that affects what I can get. (Also, windows 7)

gameplay is #1

story is a nice bonus but meaningless in most of my games

graphics is important for immersion

music can define a game and one's memories of it, so it's extremely important.

difficultly should be challenging but not soul-crushing (i'm assuming that in this chart that the difficulty means "real" difficultly rather than fake difficultly. the more you go to the right, the more challenging it can be without just being fake). as such, i can deal with some fake difficultly.

voices are totally absent or atrocious in most of the games i play, i can live without them.

realism is totally meaningless in most of my games, save for my racing simulators

replayability is important; i usually avoid games that aren't very replayable.

controls should be intuitive.

Xbox or PS3 for about 300 dollars.

That's cheaper than the PC you're going to have to buy.

and then you have to use the stuffty console controls and tiny maps.

my build is about $600 (uses the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse as my previous computer):

asus p8h67-m le motherboard
evga gtx 460se vidya card
4gb of ram (now 8gb)
sandybridges i5 2500k quadcore @ 3.3ghz

the whole deal fits into a tiny (compared to my old monolithic case) $60 tower.

not sure how much it would be now - i bought it as a package deal on newegg

it runs battlefield on ultra, and most other games run on ultra + 8x antialiasing. the only game it can't really handle on maximum settings is serious sam 3, once the big fights get going.

but tbh bf3 doesn't really look that different on ultra than low, imo. i run on low because it disables half the filter-rape stuff and it's a lot easier to see.

ford didn't get a bailout because they actually had the sense to start making (or importing from europe) good small cars before gm did (hurr better keep pumping out stuffboxes).

you don't just let a massive company like general motors fail. that would wreck stuff in ways you cannot possibly imagine.
gm makes trucks, is a best selling company in europe, and they've made the first really useable electric car.

now that they're making actually good cars now, they can genuinely compete with the japanese and koreans.

you always want more options when buying cars. 'murica lost a good company when the american motors corporation went under in the 80s - they offered unique cars, and they had the best offerings among the car companies for compact cars and niche cars. when they went under, you no longer could get truly 4wd cars without going to audi. and amc was a tiny company compared to gm of the time - if modern gm went under, tens of thousands of people would be out of work, and the only american brand around would be ford (because chrysler car may still go under if fiat says "forget it").

Healthcare law (don't know if good or bad seeing as ive never read it and the only ones I've really heard explain it to me are the news anchors on FOX)

universal healthcare would be amazing, but from what i understand, it's been butchered by the republicans in congress - afaik, you would have to buy insurance from the government, so it'd basically be like modern health insurance except it's tax evasion if you don't pay.

Evochron Mercenary looks like a pretty cool game.

it's a really good game (i have evochron renegades, legends, and mercenary), but you pretty much need a joystick to play it.
