Even the really good computers have trouble with recording programs dropping frame rate.

putting fraps and saving the video file on an alternate hard drive will improve your fps

die. if a nuke goes off within a couple miles you're dead from the pressure wave, blindness, radiation sickness, or the inevitable food and medicine shortages (which will probably kill more people than the bombs themselves). live out in the wilderness? hello waves of starving refugees just waiting to loot your house and slit your throat.

the lower the horsepower and the worse the performance, the lower you're going to pay. civics, corollas, etc will have relatively low insurance rates.

I'm gonna start saving up for a car when I hopefully get my license next year, I'm pretty sure my parents are going to help/pay for most of it so I'm looking towards something nice like a BMW.

better save up a lot because you're going to be spending over 1000$ a year for insurance, and probably an equal amount of money for parts. foreign (especially german) car parts are very expensive

2005 escalade costs about 100gran  I think it is 80gran or something. But you know how luxurious escalades are. Plus it's an suv :o

it doesn't cost 100k
most suvs are glorified minivans, just about everyone who owns one doesn't even need the space

I might be getting a Ford Mustang LX (~1990) in a few days.

Completely pristine condition; 50,000 original miles; only downside is that it's a 2-door car, but other than that, kickass.

you're probably going to be paying out of the ass for insurance, though. i have a 2.0 liter engine in my ford and insurance is 180$ a month.

toyotas and hondas tend to cost way more when buying used
they'll last longer but most people wreck or ruin their first cars anyways so yeah
