I agree that it's a combination of societal factors. However, I think the problem is how mental health is treated in the US. I also think there should be background checks and training. I think that people have the right to bear arms, though; it's clearly stated in the constitution. The interpretation of the 2nd Amendment is highly debated, both parties with their bias actively try to interpret the words in their worldview so nobody is really going to settle on a sure answer.
I wanna know how many people in the US have like "dungons" in their house. Like that'd just be super interesting to know lol*raises hand*
I wish Indiegogo and Kickstarter were just synonymous because even I forget sometimes, but yeah I agree I'm happy it was fully funded!tbh i think kickstarter is just one of those words that indicate people backed projects now days.
This sounds like "these are worthless""Yeah you can trust us! Why would we, the Government ever forget you over?"
just pretend it's rodese, theyre the same thingSick burn
Huh, I didn't know that. Now I feel proper silly.Yeah its like "In God We Trust" on our bills. Mostly tradition.
I was taught that it was still based on our Gold Reserves by my history teacher in school, but I guess he had it wrong.
Our notes still have the line "I promise to pay the bearer on demand the sum of...", which I was told was evidence that the notes could be exchanged for gold, but I suppose it's just there as tradition now.
I didn't know how to phrase it, but I know that UK currency is technically based on the gold in the Bank of England.US dollar was pretty much backed by the same concept. It was a note for an IOU. Then we dropped the gold standard. Government promises at their finest! I'm also pretty sure the UK did the same.
My £5 note is actually a promise from the bank that they owe me £5 worth of gold. When I trade my £5 note for an item I am technically trading them the banks promise of gold to that value.
