I was never good at picking the peaceful option sadly. I got suspended from the same highschool twice but around the third time i managed to stay through it. They were pretty lenient there. I guess i was kind of the douchebag. Nobody picked a fight with me after the first two times though :z That and no friends.

So now the issue is the protagonist? There are countless games in which the protagonist is just as flimsy if not more so. The issue is that the humans aren't detailed? You're really scratching the barrel for moral backing.
Incidentally, remember Destroy All Humans? The game in which you massacred everything and everybody and it was comedic? And everyone loved that game?

It doesn't GLORIFY the deaths of the civilians in harsh, brutal ways.

And there seems more to that than just killing people as well.
