Exactly the same as now minus the amount of players, events, physics, content released.
It also was much glitchyer and the addon system was really... well whatever the opposite of "idiot proof" is.

I had over 7 varieties of the Barreta Sniper Rifle at one time.
Haha, yeah...

There was a billion add-ons in v7-v8 and half of them were half baked and buggy.

Besides that once you downloaded an Add-on, then you put the shapes, textures, scripts etc. in their own folders... You could almost never find them again. I remember when i was trying to figure out that add-on system on my own, after replacing the shapes folder twice or so. Yeah.

Also adding onto badspot's post, we actually did have Space Guy's Events. Even though they didn't work as well, they worked well enough to make homing turrets and stuff. Probably besides that, the one mod I always loved was old TDM. That plus the old GSF - San Andreas.

Anyways, so what I would do is make 3 teams on my 32 player server: Black Gang, Blue Gang, and the Red Gang. What would happen is you would run about the city looking for weapons and vehicles to kill the other gangs. So it was a huge drawn out TDM. And just for 'the fun' I allowed people to build gang flags and gang signatures on buildings and what not. Yeah, that was fun. That was way back too, back when my name was still Snip3r. Ah well, enough of the memories.

But then finding disguised people is as easy as shooting the people without weapons.
It's actually just like TF2.

Only stupid people fall for disguises for very long.

I found the solution: It turns out several keys when unbound, forces the game to reset your binds because a lot of binds are needed to be, well, binded.

Update: After testing with the help of Space Guy and Ephialtes...

It turns out that deleting prefs.cs and config.cs does nothing after the first time i join a server. If i rejoin, that GUI comes up again. Also with a fresh copy of Blockland, this problem still occurs.

And if it helps, I'm running Blockland from my Applications folder. I run Blockland on Mac OS X 10.5.8

Plus, it would be pretty laggy having a bunch of those around.

Alright, so I reinstalled blockland because i had some stuffty add-on loving up my server and I didn't know what it was. Anyways, I open blockland, select my control configuration, type in my key, and configure my controls a lot to fit my old config. Then I join Radial's server. When i spawn it prompts me to reselect my control configuration. I do, and it resets my controls to the default ones i selected. So i re config'd again. And rejoined. This time I pressed that little X in the corner but it still configured my controls to the default ones. So i tried a series of restarting blockland and mapping them to the defaults then remapping them to my custom ones. Etc.

What is going on?

I'm a scripter. Function is what counts. The rest is just fancy artwork. You didn't even make the model that well, no look animation makes its aiming look weird when combined with the base turning thing...
What the sentry should be is a tank turret. Yes. Shrink it to .5 size and make it fire akimbo bullets. There's a sentry for you.

Add-ons that work will get approved within 24 hours of being submitted. It's when your add-on has problems that it gets moved into the slow lane to give you time to sort them out.
What.

I was talking to space and bugging him to approve this. He said he'll wait a week for you to approve.
