portal is just a mod of hl2, but it does have better lighting, higher res textures, better physics engine. and other junk.
just as epp1 and 2 are of higher graphics then hl2. its possible to meet requirements of one and not the other.
idk but does anyone know how much hl2 and gmod cost together??
