Off Topic / Computer freezes randomly

Prior to today, I haven't had any troubles with my computer whatsoever. However, starting earlier today, the computer started to freeze up, and I would be forced to restart it. It doesn't freeze unless I'm playing a game, which leads me to believe that something is overheating.

I got a BSOD once, but the computer restarted before I could gather any information from it. Also, I don't have any problems if I run Windows in safe mode. I would ask for help on a tech support forum, but it seems there are a few who are quite knowledgeable about computers here.

I'm not sure which specs would be pertinent to this, so just tell me what to post, and I'll find that information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A more recent build of mine, which I spent about two days making. I'm not sure if it would really be considered Persian, but oh well.

I haven't added anything inside yet; if you want, you can suggest some things to add, and I will update the thread later with a complete interior.

I don't think I've finished a build since my USSR application (which was back in November), so I decided to make this small build. It's a Chinese landscape, featuring a bridge, river, boat, temple, and a few trees.

Drama / Badspots Brick Beta Mayham

A few minutes ago, I was browsing servers when I noticed this; a server titled "Badspots Brick Beta Mayham". I already knew it was fake, seeing how mayhem was spelled incorrectly, and there was no apostrophe in "Badspots". I then decided to join the server to see what it really was, when I was greeted with this:



Apparently disguising your CityRP as Badspot's server makes you cool now.

Help / Blockland player not moving

I guess the topic title is a bit off, but I couldn't think of anything else.

The problem is, whenever I play, whether it be connecting to a server or hosting my own, the second I move my mouse to adjust my view, the player instantly looks up, and I cannot change my view. When I try to change it, all the player does is spin around in circles. I'm not sure what the problem is; I doubt it's a faulty add-on, because everything was fine yesterday.

I remember seeing a topic similar to this before, but I can't remember what that person was told to do.

I found this to be rather amusing.

Three days ago he PM'd me about a help topic I had made quite a bit ago, probably back around when I first created a forum account. I had some issues with sound on Blockland so I had posted a topic. However, I then tried restarting Blockland, and the issue was resolved. So, I locked the topic without getting any replies. As I had previously stated, three days ago I received a PM from him:

if you want us to awnser, you should of not locked it

or youre committing Self Delete

So, I replied telling him that the topic was months old, and that I had already fixed the issue, and yesterday I got another reply from him:

whatever, actualy SHUT UP STUPID

I found the reply funny as is, but it was even funnier once I saw the tags he used:

I'm not too sure how this got into my add-ons folder, but once I activated it, every time I quit Blockland, the game freezes, and the console is spammed with a ton of stuff. I'm not really asking for help, but does anyone know where this came from?

Gallery / Randomguy's Cathedral(s) [WIP]

I've recently been working on a couple of cathedral style builds. I realize that many believe that cathedrals are way overdone, but this is my preferred style of building, and it works great with cathedrals/churches.

Anyway, here are the actual cathedrals:

The Washington Parish
This one is based off of a real church. I'm almost done with the exterior at the moment.








My own cathedral
This one still has quite a ways to go.

I was bored one day, so I began building a symmetrical...thing...out of nothing but ramp corners and inverted ramp corners. Here is the end result:

Help / Can't access my router page.

My router (a Netgear WGT624 v4) recently got a firmware update. While hosting a server on Blockland, the server suddenly died. So, I typed in my default gateway to re-forward my ports, but it says that the page is not available. I tried restoring the factory defaults, but nothing seems to work.

Help / Server keeps dying.

Every time I host a server, it works up until the point when someone joins. Then, the server dies, but whoever's on can still remain on. Any suggestions on how to fix?

I've already tried re-forwarding my ports and checking all firewalls, but to no avail.
