Drama / Dontres the hacker

Just a few minutes ago, in Cool Blockhead's island server, a hacker named "Dontres" (BLID:82121) began using BLhack(?). He mainly made events to trap people. The trap, once you get to it, is the following text message spammed multiple times:

Cool Blockhead: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO

Although, the trap was poorly made to where you were trapped in a different location that the spam trigger location. When I was trapped, he used speedhack to get to me, and other people have seen him speedhacking and floating. He has since been banned from the server, but if you see him, BOS.

I wasn't able to capture proof, but hopefully some witnesses will confirm in the thread.

Off Topic / Zune's software can go burn

So, because my current MP3 player is starting to get too small (An original 2gb Sansa Clip, Rockboxed), my dad gave me his old 80gb Zune player. The player itself is actually a nice piece of hardware, it's interface is nice and smooth, the sound quality is nice (Even able to drive my 56ohm headphones with ease), and the screen is alright for 2007. However, when I hooked it up to my computer, it refused to let me access the files until I downloaded the Zune software. I download the software, and you've got to be loving kidding me. The computer stops detecting when USB Devices are plugged and unplugged, meaning I can't hook up my old MP3 player to transfer files. It also refused to uninstall, telling me to unplug the zune, which it was. I rebooted the computer, and oh loving stuff. It's changed my sound to go through my graphics card and into my tv through HDMI, rather than straight through my soundcard to my headphones. Did I mention that it created not 1, but 7 loving HDMI "Playback devices". It also reset my sound card driver's settings. This stuff is why I was just considering upgrading to a Zip Clip instead.

So, life has not been going so well for me lately. Everything going on has been putting me in a stuffty, depressed mood. I've had my only friend at school move to a different school unexpectedly, I've had my favorite cat put down yesterday, My classmates are treating me like stuff, My teachers are treating me like stuff, My online friends are starting to talk to me less and less, I've been feeling more and more like a forgetup, I've had tons of embarrasing forgetups in just this month, I've gotten a couple of expensive things with my B-day money that are broken just after their warranty expired, I've been doing worse in school, I've lost interest in a lot of things I used to love, I've been feeling especially tired recently, and my parents have been more and more dis-trusting of me, despite the fact that I did nothing to break their trust. It's starting to grate on me, and I just needed to vent somewhere.

So, I got an old computer from the thrift shop for 20$. I want to make it a badass gaming rig for late 90's and early 2000's gaming. What parts should I get? Will post pics tomorrow.

1.7ghz Athlon XP
1gb (2x 512mb) DDR1 RAM
32mb whatevertheforget integrated graphics chipset, but it's not ATI, Intel, nor Nvidia
40gb HDD (Still formatted in FAT32, despite having...:)
Windows XP
Several PCI Slots and 1 AGP slot
2 PC-133 slots and 2 DDR1 slots

This is a drag racing group for both land vehicles and air vehicles. I made this group because I noticed a complete lack of a drag racing group (Other racing groups dont focus on drag racing), and I wanted to see this kind of racing get a start in the BL Community. Drag races will not have vehicular restrictions, besides being air vs. air and land vs. land only.

If the clan gets at least 5 people, then an official drag racing strip will be built, and the OP will be expanded upon

So,  I'm sitting in my school band room right now, and it's 2 in the morning.  I'm going to a state competition in Tennessee,  and I'm not gonna be able to come home until 2 or 3 Sunday morning. This also includes a second performance if we get to finals.  Fuuuuck.

Off Topic / Just got a new 240hz 3D TV

So, I just got a good deal on a Sony 3D 240hz TV, and I plan on using it as my monitor. I have a Radeon HD 7770 GHz edition in my computer. Should I buy a new graphics card to drive the high refresh rate and 3d, or is this card fine for the job?

Off Topic / Tri-screen setup: Worth it?

So, I have 220$ in birthday and allowance money, and I'm thinking of getting a couple of new monitors for a tri-screen setup. Right now, I have a 24 inch 1080p TV as my monitor, and a Radeon HD 7770 GHz edition graphics card. I play a lot of flight games (DCS World, Crimson skies, Warthunder, YSFlight, etc.), and some FPS games. Would it be worth it to get a Tri-screen setup, or should I just go for a Saitek X-52 and Shure Se215's?

Posting here since reddit's purchase advice thread has ignored me for 5 days straight

I'm looking for the best damn IEM's that 100$ can purchase. I want them to have subwoofer-ey bass if possible, but I also want clear highs. I also need them to be durable, as I'm sort of rough on earbuds. Last thing I need is to spend 100$ and then they break 6 months later.

15 years ago, on this very day, some random person was born......That person was the one and only me.

Band camp is also today, so that sucks. Fortunately, it's only a half day due to an optional trip to a drum corps competition, which I'm not going to. After band camp, I'm getting endless hot wings at Friday's. Afterwards, I'm heding home and getting a really nice pair of speakers, and a badass tv area for my older games and consoles, which consists of a CRT TV, and a shelf I can put consoles on. I will post pics later today.
