Nixite (Not Nix to my knowledge)

I used to admin a freebuild for him in 2014, and it's still my favorite freebuild ever done in blockland. I have to wonder where he went off to, or if he still has a save of it.

vr kinda stale in 2017 for me. . . but glad you had fun/

I got it for my racing sim rig originally but then Pavlov vr happened. Rec room too, though that one turned to dogstuff in mid-2018.

man i just wish blockland was alive again i dont wanna move onto new things

forgetin mood. I wish we could find a way to boost the playerbase again, nothing's ever really filled the hole that blockland left. I don't hate brickadia or anything but it's not really a worthy successor in it's current modless/eventless state.

My biggest regret is not playing more in 2017-2019. I got a VR headset which sapped my interest and time, and I didn't realize that the population would be so low these days. Plus I wish I took more screenshots and videos.

2012 was probably when my depression was at it's absolute worst. Neither classmates, teachers, nor my dad liked me, and no friends either. It got especially bad late in the year when I got punished hard for talking back to a teacher, losing access to my computer for a few months. I had to browse the internet on an Xbox 360. Also I was so lonely I became a loving brony and a homestuck fan in a desperate attempt for friends online but we don't talk about that part of my life lmfao

I'd legit lose my stuff if we had a proper vr mod.

You receive a spat of drama during the thread's run that results in 6 people banned.

I insert a copy of "The Museum of Anything Goes"

everyone likes to pretend that roblox had a downhill death spiral beginning with erik's death or ticket removal when i can vividly remember people complaining a forgetload about the game back in like 2010-2012 well before either of these events occurred
roblox has been regularly criticized ever since a couple of years after its 2006 inception and nothing has changed since
and yeah this stuff has been pretty obvious for years at least to me. unless you are one of the most popular games on the platform (adopt me) you arent going to make a significant sum from the devex program. ive viewed this as the cost of convenience: roblox provides you with the engine/distribution platform/infrastructure/etc in one package but at the consequence of roblox largely being the one reaping the rewards of your work. roblox is fine if you just want to screw around and make games for fun but if you are serious about game dev and profiting from your work then you are much better off going straight to a proper engine like unity and building from there

Yeah, Roblox's decline really started around 2011, 2012 when they got more aggressive with monetization. Ultimately it resulted in me buying Blockland in mid-2011 and honestly, it really is the better game. I joined Roblox in 2008, and realizing that 95% of the playerbase is younger than my account makes me feel loving ancient.
