Help / Large Build error message

I have built a very large city race map using over 90000 bricks, and when I was adding more, it came up with an error message and exited the program. I dealt with this by saving the map over every time I had added alot. After a while of doing this (build a building, then save) I was saving the map after adding over 1000 bricks to it. it saved fine untill a certain point, (it was saving bricks at this time) it exited. I do not know if it finished saving or not, but the file, when viewed in the "load map" gui, had noimage. I loaded, and as soon as it finished loading it errored out again.
(now the weird part)
I loaded it a second time (accidentally pressed the f3 button, turning on a "recording??" half way through) and saved periodically in backups, saving what I could of the map. I had saved one more time, and realized that the map was doen loading, and was fine. I began to build, realized the "recording" was on, and turned it off, immediately bringing the error.
I tried to recreate the effect, but nothing works...
PLEASE help...
