Games / Re: World of Warcraft
« on: March 05, 2010, 12:24:18 AM »
I used to play it. Had an awesome Ret Pally named Anoobus (A noob in the US) anywho got him up to 42 before my bro deleted him. It was only a temporary thing to help me escape reality long enough right after a particularly bad break up. Then I got to share an account with a friend I made through work, but he never paid up his half of the subscription fee, so once again I was without it. Even tried resurrecting my pally. Named that one Anewbus (notice a pattern here?) and got him up to about 20something. Game was fun, but after a while I got extremely bored after running for two hours just to get somewhere I hadn't gotten to exploring yet.

Now I have STO and enjoy that a lot more, but this is a  WoW thread so I'm outtie.

I got converted :D then converted back. I don't believe in their beliefs, but any community where they are that happy with eachother is a good one in my book.
And I respect that. I'm not sure if I'm totally Mormon or whatever, but I can say I'm Christian. It's just people like that who make flat out baseless accusations against something they never took the time to personally research and find out bug the hell out of me. They sit there on their loathsome spotty behinds squeezing blackheads and blindly following any person who pops out a personally biased book as equally as any religious person follows a religious text. It's really pathetic to watch sometimes. Probably as pathetic as they think us religious folk are. Ironic, no?

almost on the same level of nastiness as Mormonism.
I grew up Mormon, sir and we never forced anyone to convert. We just went door to door to talk about the bible and answer any serious questions someone might have about religion. But thanks to moronic statements like that, people won't let them in to even say good day. Every time I have a Mormon missionary over it's always 3/4 talk about every day things and one Bible passage and what it means to them.

So forget you and your high horse you rode in on. Good day, sir.

Hey an off branch of my original STO thread. I must be popular now!

I just got done playing. I should be studying for a statistics exam, but I couldn't resist reaming Rommies a new one. If you want a list of characters n junk, go check out my thread. I'll see if it's still bumpable and update player lists.

For me, Gaia online was a means to keep in contact and socialize with a girlfriend I had who lived some distance away. Once we broke up, my need to remain on that game ceased. I thought it was a horrible site filled with prepubescent perverts and child enthusiasts but I put up with it for her sake.

As far as a bump topic goes, well that's just another useless topic in a long string of useless topics that have been plaguing the off topic forums.

I usually view them with my eyes being that I can't "see" anything with any other part of my body.

The topics that really are simply stupid are the "Oh I just hit my XXXX post" threads. Who gives a forget? If we wanted to know, we'd go to your profile and find out. So we're supposed to applaud you for wasting your time on an internet forums positing crap like "ZOMG COOKEYZ!!" 40 times in different threads? Yeah, I'll get right on that...not.

And for birthday threads It's cool if you announce it to a few close friends, that's okay. I'm sure the majority of the forums don't care. If it's for some weird grandiose contest, for a blockland key to cite an example, I'll be amused just to see who is the biggest suckup. In fact, I might just pull that off for my Birthday this year since I saw the results of Bisjac's little contest. The results were numerous and rather creative, I'll give you people that. It was a good time to see the large banner someone made for him. As far as I know, he still has that with him.

A library of Star Trek books, magazines, coasters, oragami books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, technical manuals, stamps, playing cards, watches, DVDs, Playable card games and board games, and a few random ships and figurines...and a costume.

No, not obsessed at all.

What does that mean?
Politically Correct. It means sucking up to every minority out of the fear of looking tribal for one misunderstood comment or action.

lol you people are too PC. Mexicans are find in Mexico. The ones that come here illegally are too dirty and poor to be accepted into good jobs in Mexico, so why would we want their sick diseased hands picking all our food?

You can't call it Quake 1 until it gets a sequel. Until then, it's just Quake. :(
