Said the Christian.

Oh, the irony.
I never stated I had a 100% belief in Christianity, and Inv3rted will agree that I am far from being a creationist. So much for your biased argument. lol

The fact is that there is evidence for the gay gene. The theory is the best way to explain the evidence. It may change, but the evidence is still there and still factual. True, but it's still a theory subject to change, it hasn't been empirically proven and identified as being this one gene in a string of millions.

Time dilation and spacetime are facts, relativity is the best way to explain it. Until something better comes along. Some of the things Einstein have stated are being revised and changed all the time.

Just because something is a theory doesn't mean you can disregard the evidence for it. Nor can you put whole-hearted trust in it being 100% correct. Scientific progress would never advance if that was the case.

Do you know what a scientific theory is?

General relativity is a theory, and yet every single modern physicist accepts it.

You're abnormally dull for a 28 year old.
As I said, it is a Theory, not a fact. Until it says the Fact of General Relativity, it is always subject to change due to new information or new scientific advances. Or it may even be abolished for something more accepted as it always happens in science. Have you looked up what a theory is?

You're abnormally close-minded and easy to skip critical thinking when it suits your argument.

As for Doorman, you missed my post on why males are gay, I said I don't really know why males are inherently gay, save for the few friends I've talked to about the issue. Everyone I asked has done so by choice. As for the story of the baby love change, it happens a lot more than you realize, especially in countries where male heirs are still a deciding factor in politics. Look it up.
So now people have to go through a body changing procedure to be gay? Uh oh, now you're being inconsistent!
How so? I was stating that hair color is not a defining supporting argument to logically compare to people choosing to be gay. Genetics plays a major role in hair color, but people can choose their hair color. Just look at Bisjac. He has green hair. Tell me if that is genetics or a choice.

Male homoloveuality is genetic.
Hmmm that says theory, not Fact. Still unproven or largely unaccepted by the general populace of scientists. I'd like to know when exactly Science states that a theory is fact. Show me that and I'll believe it.

Have you actually done any research? Are you a funded scientist? Can you map the genome of a gay man and compare it to others?
I don't see any of the so called evidence you claim to blatantly believe without doing some research yourself in the thread at all. Like you're one to talk. lol "Herp, skeiinzz sez so, so et muz be trew!"
lol

I'm betting you haven't talked to many gay people.

Many couples live in my building, and they would be insulted by that paragraph.
I've talked to all of my gay friends about this subject at one time or another and none of them claim it's because of genetics. They made the choice and they acted on that choice. That's empirical evidence enough for me. Straight (or should I say not straight) from the source. As for your couples in the building, what would I care about insulting them? They're gay, they're happy, big whoop. I wouldn't be the first one to trample on any of their norms or values.
I'd say homoloveuality was part environmental/upbringing and part genetic.
Way to take a stand Ephi! lol

Actually, you can quite easily tell if somebody is gay or not if you know what to look for. It's called Gaydar.

At any rate, how would somebody be able to tell such a thing before somebody would have been able to make any decision on the matter? Say, like age 6.
Yeah, because a thing actually exists. Not.

A good way to find out why is to simply ask them. 90% of the time it's due to some form of abuse, drama, peer pressure, or experimenting as a kid. in one rare answer, a person learned that she was actually a male when she was born but her parents wanted a girl and gave her a love change. Was that unethical? Oh you bet. Did it explain why she was gay? Definitely. Was it anything related to genetics? Not in the least bit.

Secondly a 6 year old is not recognized as being capable of making well informed choices about themselves or about anything in their environment. They can say they're gay, but never know what it really means until they're older. They only assume so because calling someone gay is a universal insult and some people take it seriously.

I hate a lot of things done on these forums, including a few things I've done myself. Do I hate the people responsible? No. Do I hate their actions? Yes. Do I think it's worth my time to out and change that? No. As much as I'd like to think I have any influence in these forums, I don't so no sense in worrying about it.

Ok, why would someone just like the same-love out of nowhere?
Read my post and find out why.

Homoloveuality is not a decision. It's been proven genetic.
Lies. There's far more evidence that most lesbians either became that way due to peer pressure/experimenting as adolescents or had one too many bad experiences with jerky guys with whom they chose to date. I asked a few of my friendly neighborhood lesbians in chat and those together encompassed 90% of all answers given to me. It was certainly a choice for all of them. (at least for lesbians anyways. Couldn't tell you about gay guys. Maybe they just watched too many researchos that focused on rooster-n-balls and liked it better)

Yes. They both offer nearly the same thing. Play what you prefer, who gives a flying forget what other people think? Fighting over which console is better is immature and redundant. It's almost as bad as arguing religion.
Because a forum filled with 10-15 years old are really going to be mature...Think about that for a second.
