I hate it so much. I bleed black ink when I see the commercials or hear them. Its the most handicapped thing in the world. It makes good songs sound bad and I want to kill those kids that are in it.
Welcome to the world of legal loopholes. Rap/hip hop artists do this all the time and equally annoys me to no end.

That's not really a faltering on his education if the sources he copies it from get it wrong.

Secondly the illegal action comes from the fact of licensing. The companies are officially licensed to reproduce and distribute the media as they see fit. The regular schmo on the street does not own that right nor are they given permission to make copies and distribute those copies outside of the original right owners wishes. That is where all this illegal action is taking place.

You all bitch and whine about build stealing, yet you all think it's okay to copy DVDs. It's the same damn thing! So if you all think making DVD copies are okay, quit crying about your builds getting stolen. End the stupid argument already.

I got that achievement in the first few minutes of the game. I was escaping some cops and by some freak accident from a turn, I hit something and flipped over a rail and landed on the metro tracks. I then drove on them to get to the bridge underpass and got the 6 star wanted level and just sat in the covered metro tracks on the bridge for 5 minutes. Kapow. Achievement unlocked. I then proceeded to escape that same wanted level by blasting down the metro tracks since it's far less cluttered in traffic only a random train now and then.

Funny thing is, I ditched my car on the tracks and a train came along and hit it. The car ran my ass over killing me. That's a fitting end to a good start to a game.

The level I hated was the one you had to use all that momentum from dropping through portals to move higher up on platforms to eventually get out of the room. Otherwise, the game was a cinch.

Good lord, I let this hit page 8. I better keep the updates on the way. So I haven't recieved any notification from my sis that she preordered the game, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to preorder from Amazon and get my liberated borg drone crew member. The ship would have been nice to have, but I'm going to be gunning for my Akira class. And since one of my sources keeps talking about ship naming, I hope that's an option in the game. So if that is the case, if you could name your ship, what would it be?

My Akira class would be named the USS Naomi Armitage from the anime Armitage III Poly-Matrix since it follows with the tradition of the Akira class being named for the famous anime as a tribute to the fans in Japan.

I've been on TV a few times, have done a couple radio spots, and even made a small unimportant poofy-hat appearance in the movie Iron Will.

Off Topic / Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?
« on: December 25, 2009, 10:38:44 AM »
The vast majority of the US celebrates Christmas. Other holidays are celebrated elsewhere in other countries so it's "Merry Christmas." Anyone who doesn't like it or celebrate it, oh well. Big deal. Get over it if it offends you so much. Those people need to go back to Kindergarten if they can't handle something someone says.

No, scientists have evidence that their experiments will work, based on tedious research. The purpose of scientific experiments is to discover new things, faith is not required.

And most intelligent people weren't bus drivers.
Evidence gathered after they go through the process of scientific experimentation. Even with all this evidence, can you still conclusively prove things that happened far before human consciousness even existed? Everything that happened later than 2000 years is till up to a lot of debate because there is no way for certain to put together an entire history based off of some cave paintings and a few sparse bones here and there. That's like me saying that Dinosaurs probably ate candy bars because we found a candy wrapper and a few dinosaur bones in close proximity. That is a beginning to scientific theory. It will later be proven wrong, but a lot of things we assumed about dinosaurs have been proven wrong even when we had all this evidence right in front of our noses. Evidence and theory and facts do not make scientific fact. It is the gathering of like-minded people who all collectively believe in one thing to make it into something real for everyone else. Sounds a bit like a religion to me.
