religion has always been a tool to control people. from its beginning to now.
you cant assume that stopped just because we live in modern times.

stem cells are being stuff on by religious nuts pretty hard right now. and there is nothing more helpful to our future then that would be.
But as soon as the struggling scientists start curing all sorts of things, our holy friends will start saying god allowed us, though stem cells, and take all the credit again to attempt to play the silly faithful.
I never said it stopped. But you did confirm my point, it is a means to control the masses. As to what effect one wishes to take it, is up to man, not the god or the religion itself. What people choose to do in the name of religion is also not the religion's fault. From what I read in most religions around the world, it all is simply a guideline on how to behave and to act in accordance to prolonging peaceful coexistence with everyone else. It's Humanity that decided to interpret the concept of going to hell for having a choice in your belief. It was also humanity who decided that death was a feasible punishment for a difference in belief.

As for the stem cells, I say go for it. I don't know why most religious people think it's a horrible thing. So a soul is put onto Earth to prematurely be sent back to heaven. That soul committed no wrong, just was placed in the wrong body. It doesn't mean it is forever barred from Earth. I think that a God who already knows everything that is to happen would know better than to be so petty to not just simply put them into a new body and let them actually live a life, if that's his plan. No one can say for sure, but to deny medical advancements in a false front of religion is not what I believe God is about, otherwise he would have blown us to brimstone the first time a kid was unnaturally aborted.

I may be faithful, but I also realize that if God really didn't want Humanity to do something, he would have made sure we wouldn't be able to figure it out in the first place. So I can see and agree with your views.

lul@thousands of years of religious persecution and murder to prevent the study of body and medicine.

i do believe the church was responsible for the deaths of free thinkers who dare to say the world was round.
Ah, but you forget Bisjac, that was mainly a means to prevent the masses from gaining too much power over their lords and had very little to do with religion in itself. It was a means of control. I'm pretty sure if they knew the kinds of advances we made today and how easier life is with the things they persecuted people for, would you be so quick to snuff it, or would you think they'd embrace it for a catastrophic advantage over their enemies?

1. You didn't bother to read it you close-minded nut. You can't declare propaganda, your religion spreads it around youth like a virus.
2. It's not, it's that people will blindly defend their faith even when everything points against it.
3. Honestly, you can believe whatever you want, the question is if you're so secure about it, why are you getting upset?
4. Yes, it has. Religion interferes with human advancement all the time. We could be well on our way to curing the most horrible diseases if the religious nutwads would shut the forget up. Not only that, but they try to restrict everyone based on their own morals and religious beliefs. Nothing in the government should have anything to do with religion.

Finally, that makes no sense. I can say anything I want, even if I don't believe it. I'm done arguing, however.

1. I could hardly read it because the pic quality was stuff, but what I did read was a bunch of stuff written from a non religious source. If you want to properly discredit something, use actual material, not just classic quotes from the bible that fit your needs. We all know there are mistakes here and there due to the difficulty of translating Latin to English. Learn Latin and read that Bible and see if it has half the discrepancies of the King James version.
2. Like you are doing in your belief in atheism. Which is faith in itself. Not to God, but to the lack of presence of God. It's still a belief and can be seen as a religion in itself. Still makes you a hypocrite.
3. You assume I'm upset about it. That's your error, much like in how people will believe what they think a form of text states. Which is why they stop believing. Which is why you find fault in the Bible because you don't understand the emotionalism behind it.
4. I agree with Bacon. There is no proof that it's religious people are intentionally withholding our progress. There is proof that the lack of financial resources is what is causing our inability to advance any further because everyone wants more and more money and it's reflecting on the things that are produced in turn. Do you know why medicine is so expensive in the US? Because it takes billions of dollars just to produce it. By the time a working drug is finally put into market, the company is already billions of dollars in debt and they need to make up for it quickly before they go bankrupt. If scientific devices were cheaper, the cost of power to produce the drug or run the equipment were cheaper, that would reflect on the overall cost of the final product.  (tl:dr The economy/greed is why we can't advance faster than we are.)

Lyrical G already failed hard to my logic, do you really think you can win against it? Granted, Lyrical G was a punk and a patsy. But your lack of creditable sources isn't cutting it in this argument, which is why I agree that your withdrawl from the argument is a wise move. You won't win it.

i record at perfect quality, a copy of my actual game play.
that's why 2minutes is 2gigs of avi lol
Yes, and that's why the file is so large. You can still record it at half quality on full screen and still get a decent recording. Or you can frame the recording area so that you don't capture any extra junk you won't need that would only add size to the file. I do get it, we did talk about this before. I know you love your graphics quality. lol

Maybe they had future technology!

But we will never invent such technology, its impossible. Anybody who thinks its possible, think of this, why don't we see anybody from the future?

And for all you precise people that still believe in time travel, go ahead and believe, because why the hell would anybody want to come to our time? And it would be extremely hard to travel to this exact second, no wait, this one... and on...
But if they traveled to any second before us, then we would gain the memory of them coming to us.
Nothing is impossible, just highly improbable.
Time travel is possible. We do it every second of our lives. Now the means to control the flow of time, that's the thing we haven't caught on to yet. I for one would love to travel to the past. Like Dr. Emmet Brown said. "To see where we are, where we came from, where we're going, and maybe to answer that universal question...Why?"

Doesn't that make them Cousin Brother Sister Cousins removed in law?
No, it makes them "Absolutely nothing! Which is what you are about to become"

Too tempting for a Dark Helmet quote there.

I'm not here to argue, but to have some questions answered.

How do they know the exact date?

Could the crosses have not been added, or was the building completely left alone for 2,546 years?
Bingo, unilateral thinking outside of the box. Possible answers:

They don't. they can only estimate based off of carbon dating, which isn't exactly effective for non carbon based things that never lived.

It's very possible since churches undergo maintenance and restoration projects all the time, so no one can claim the church is as it was when it started. No way to know.

What the hell does "Spiritual Literature" even mean? Why would my source be 4chan? Everything on that page are perfectly legitamate argument. Furthermore, the notion that I can't refer to a god because I'm not religious is preposterous.

The bible is spiritual literature. What you posted seems to only be another classic case of left-wing propaganda intended to make a person doubt and question their faith. Why is believing in a deity so offensive to you people? Why do you even really care? Has it really affected your life so horribly because someone thinks differently than you do?

To speak the name of God denotes belief in his existence. Plain and simple. If you didn't believe, you'd find something else to substitute it with.

I keep my default settings for Movie maker, the possible problem lies in the capture quality of your Fraps. Are you able to adjust the quality control for recording or adjust the capture area at all? I find that helps a great deal in reducing the size of the file to be transferred over to movie maker.

there were alot of christian symbols then just the cross in that church. things that were uniquely bible post jews.
the bible hadn't even been put together till like the  100-300AD or so.
that church is the ultimate christian oxymoron, like it fell off the time line.
its clear the religion is extremely faulty in itself
My point---------------->Bisjac.
Totally missed it dude. lol
Holy loving christ.
Now, as for your religious stupidity:
-snippity-
Wow, you think that's actual spiritual literature? where was your source, 4chan? Also, if you're not religious, you don't get to say Holy or Christ or even God. Damn hypocrites =p
