Rally's method is probably the simplest as it doesn't require any accurate selecting or special plugins while giving nice results.

i have a gameboy advanced sp, but it kinda... sucks. basically the battery is all wonky and the gameboy sometimes loses power fast, and the charge doesn't exactly WORK, so.
Yeah the rechargeable battery will start losing the charge it holds after a certain number of times its been charged. It's natural and it just needs to be replaced which is as easy as removing the battery cover and plopping a new one in. Nintendo still sells replacement batteries on their site last time I checked.

Nice collection you got going. Cool to see that you have Zero Mission, Superstar Saga, Minish Cap, Advance 4, Sonic Advance 2, and now Golden Sun along with The Lost Age.

Also your GBA SP is in wayy better condition than mine, looks brand new in comparison. I got my SP over 10 years ago and I played the hell out of it and brought it out whenever I could. As a result the system is a bit scratched up in places, the paint is worn out, cartridge slot needs some cleaning, and the battery needs to be replaced.

Selecting the area and changing up the hue should do the trick, but it would mostly come down to how well you select the area in the first place. Unless someone has an easier way of going around that.

C-Zech is one of those people with the mentality of "if I sound smart it'll make me look smart". Put the thesaurus down for once, you're a teenager not a phd.

The police radio in NFSMW is really neat. They would describe the make and color of the car you're driving, what area you were in, respond to certain actions you do (like crashing, stopping, hitting a police car, etc.), and also communicate with each other during the pursuit.

Ratchet and Clank cleverly masks loading screens with the scene of you traveling to the location you're going towards.

When you swim underwater in Banjo Kazooie the level music transitions to an underwater version of it.

In Super Mario Sunshine you can glance at some of the later levels in the background. Such as in Bianco Hills you can see Ricco Harbor down below if you look over the walls of the level.

driving in gta 5 feels like i'm driving a loving brick that never breaks. probably the worst simulation of driving in my opinion. gta 4 wins in simulation of driving and crash body physics.
It's not gta is supposed to some driving simulator anyway nor was it ever in the past. People seem to have a problem with the handling in IV, but personally I thought it was okay for the type of game it was.
so you prefer fantasy over simulation in terms of driving?
Generally if the cars are easier to handle and more well suited to the map then people will have more fun. Besides its loving gta, I want to go fast, take turns with ease, and do cool stunts, not drive like I'm commuting to work.

Mainly video games, but I may expand my collecting to other things in the future such as magazines and movies and such.

I might go ahead and buy the PC version after all the good thinga people have said about this game. From what I've heard overall it seems pretty solid.
No love for NFSU. The best version IMO.
Ehh NFSU was okay, but certainly not the best imo. Personally U2 and MW hold more of a candle than U, but the original Underground definitely has that nostalgia factor going for it.

Games / Re: Nintendo to kill off Wii U this year
« on: March 22, 2016, 03:53:26 PM »
Maybe I'll pick one up at this point. Though you would think they wouldn't kill it off so quickly since so many games are coming out for it like Stairfax and Zelda.
We could have another similar situation as what happened with the Wii when Nintendo released their last big game, Skyward Sword in the Wii's case (Zelda Wii U in the Wii U's case), but atleast with the Wii Nintendo still released a couple of games and didn't cease production until 2013 with the Wii. It would be really odd if they actually did stop the production that early especially right after the big games are out.
