Off Topic / I think I just killed my monitor :(

I looked at the bottom of my Dell Ultrasharp monitor and saw an input thing labeled 'Speaker Power'
I figured that my monitor had built in speakers and I didnt know, so I took the power cord from another pair of speakers and plugged it up into the slot. Then my monitor shut off and it wont turn on anymore. Ive removed the cord and it still wont turn on. Did I kill it or is there some way I could fix this? :(

I didn't really like the part where Darth Vader is at the door and the guys like "Who is it?"  I thought it was really corny
