It has a limit for a reason and to make the limit higher (as has been said) that would make people not need to buy the game thus, Badspot runs out of money from everyone just getting demo and he has to stop making blockland.

It's supposed to just sit there until you close it, that's what a dedicated server is, just the server, no client stuff.
