So by that logic Guild Wars 2, EVE Online, Team Fortress 2 and League of Legends are all in betaMinecraft is pretty under developed but TF2 is developed incorrectly.
Kalph's servers tend to not do very well after 30 players. His speedtest is around 90 megabits for upload and he uses one of those for every 3 servers. You mean my 128-player server didn't do well?
Err except everyone's just been ripping you over your complete and utter lack of functionality to such an extent that you rely on people sending you private messages on the Blockland forums in order to setup hosting accounts for them and send payment requests? Yeah, definitely excelling in the functionality category lmaoIs your memory so small that you'd forgotten what I said on the last page?
Good guess, I'm only 18 though! Bet you feel a bit awkward now, whipped so loving badly by someone so close to your own age, gosh.Whipped? What?
Some buttons have to do more than commandtoserver and some guis also receive info from the server with clientcmd which is then displayed in the gui and stuff etcYes it would, it just has to be on a case-by-case basis. You can implement functionality for all GUI components and it's easy sailing from there.
This just wouldn't work
Host makes gui which is limited to having buttons do server commandsThanks for having the basic understanding of a safe GUI downloader working logically, rather than in a script-manner.
Puts in special guiDownload.cs file
host starts server, everything executes and loads
someone connects
server says, hey, here's this gui you need. Theres a window here, a button here, ect.(So the actual file isn't sent over)
client says, "ok", and starts making the gui based on the parts the server says to make
????
profit
Eh, I still would never trust it.GUIs for 500
How old do you think I am, like 30? I'm doing this age 17-18 lol, not sure what point you're making! You're 22.
That design you said wasn't actually your new customer management interface when I called you out on it? Yep, that's the one, I'd be embarrassed about it too.Functionality over beauty. One category I'm guaranteed to beat you in.
Think you'll find I was referring to pictures of Lub's lovey ass if you look a bit closerdarn
It would be a horrid idea though, because then you allow the host to FORCE the client to download anything they want, such as a RAT, which would be a bad idea. You can't exit the game's sandbox, unless there's a serious security flaw but Torque has proven itself safe for years.
Gosh you say I'm slow, why has it taken you 2 years to realise what you have is loving terrible?Because it was less serious to me. I didn't see you doing this at age 15-17.
No I don't, sounds like a lie to me. I've not seen proof of this!! Where are the pictures?!?!I posted it in a topic. I'm getting ready to launch it soon.
Err I don't have a hosting service ....
Yep should have a few of those in the dropbox, sec
See, as a user journey this is legitimately ridiculous. There should be no manual intervention by Kalphiter in order for someone to purchase and start a server.Don't play these stupid games. You and Lub know damn well I'm working on a new panel. Stop omitting things to give reality your personal, desired twist.
I think people are too quick to give Kalphiter a free pass and say "well hey, this is just Blockland - it doesn't have to be professional, it's just a lego game!" but at the end of the day you are giving him your real life money for a service. When your real life money becomes involved you should expect professionalism.
Last time i tried to get steam i got a truckload of rootkits that would redirect every freaking one of my google searches to some cheap, ad-filled ripoff.Viagra x 1000
it was really hard to remove it, and i decided that im not going to put up with rootkits and im going to stay off of steam.
