Off Topic / Re: Why is Self Delete ever illegal?
« on: September 28, 2013, 11:44:16 PM »
i have had far more hard times then the average whiny teenager on this forum.

real experience tells me that i will be ok when stuff happens. you guys all lack that ability and experience.
yes, but the average whiny teenager on this forum has not attempted Self Delete. answer my previous question: what about the people who are committing Self Delete? have you fallen as far or farther than them? are you so sure that somebody would go against millions of years of evolutionary instincts because they're sort of sad? surely it'd take a lot more to do that kind of thing.

god the wisdom i lack because i cannot be depressed. woe is me.
if only i didnt have complete control over my life. if only i couldnt handle emotions and let my life go downhill when unfortunate things happen to me.

you guys are so lucky to experience this all. im just way to smart to fall into it.
but not everyone has complete control over their life. and the "let the meek fall" mindset is not moral.

also, let me rephrase. you likely lack the experience of such events that would bring someone to commit Self Delete. i'm sure you've had your hard times, but are you sure that you fell farther than the people committing Self Delete? are you that sure of your emotional fortitude?

itt: bisjac is a robot without empathy, stomping on everyone in his way to world domination

bisjac lacks the experience of being depressed to back up his argument.

what are you all qq'ing about bisjac is completely right
>opinions
>right
>le meme arrows
So he's an idiot for having a different belief on the matter?

Seems rather silly. Is no one considering what he's saying?
I'm reading it, I'm not going to say whether I agree with all of it or not, but I'm not sure why every thread that Bisjac comments in becomes FORUMS VS BISJAC

When it's really not.
Are we not allowed our opinions then? I think he's a moron. I disagree completely on the bolded area. Most of the time, he switches many opinions with one post.

someone find me a pc with the NVIDIA GTX 660 graphics card plz
we're not your google slaves. feel free to ask for help, but it's not hard to google "prebuilt "gtx660""

i still don't understand how he can have 4C still. unless his room temperature is 4C or lower, or he has liquid cooling, that's impossible as far as I can tell. (fans don't create cold air, they displace hot air, so even a 100% efficient cooling fan setup cant go below the room temp, right?)

it's funny how rar is getting so upset over this
seriously calm down and realize it's a hypothetical discussion over the internet

don't get upset over the fact that my life isn't horrible, is yours?
you also seem to believe that only people who have divorced parents and live in the ghetto are allowed to be depressed or talk about depression

you are in the exact same position as me to speak about depression
so quite acting like your superior on the subject in any way
classic internet argument technique: "lel its just an internet argument nevermind that i have no other points"

I think Self Delete should only be legal through some sort of governmental thing. So jumping off a bridge and hurting nobody would be illegal, but you could always go through the process of applying to have yourself killed. The process should also be like a week long so people have time to think about what they're doing. Is this crazy?
"i heard a rope tightening i'm going in"
lol

you only provided one legitimate example. herbalism is a sought after skill. a dye shop is pretty specific, but economic competition is cool. the world doesn't revolve around you and fireboy.
edit: oh, his dye shop has clay? then that argument isn't valid either; clay is in high demand for a base color block. you have no case ayxrion. stop being an asshat.

i can't tell if you actually think crt's are fine or if your subconscious is trying to protect you from the realities of being poor
CRTs are higher latency.
edit: higher than LCD

in certain cases it is the best though.
i tried a ~$20 wireless dongle. was stuffty.
i tried a ~$20 wireless card. got 15mbps, GPU was blowing hot air onto it constantly so it would overheat and i'd get 5mbps if i played a game for more than 15 minutes.
i tried a $20 50ft ethernet cable run across the ground, up a wall to the stairs, into my room. no drilling required. took 10 minutes to set up. 30mbps, no overheating problems.

hey guys, remember the oreo campaign for pro gays? remember how that worked out?

remember the chick fil a anti gay campaign? yeah.

go back to wearing your fedoras you liberals.
nobody's expecting the company to shut down or anything, if that's what you mean. but if you disagree with a company's beliefs there's nothing stopping you from boycotting them. and it seems you're acting like both of these situations were massive failures on the pro-lgbtq side. what happened that made it so?
