you don't pay to be in "blockland united" either. at least I presume you don't. if you do then you got scammed and that's even funnieroh i thought you were talking about getting banned from brickadia
I think one of the funniest things about internet culture is the presumption that you are entitled to be allowed in some community. nobody has to explain to you why you got banned or even have a good reason. maybe they just don't like your ass. can you imagine if you kept trying to hang out with a group of people in real life but you were really annoying and they stopped inviting you to stuff and you demanded an explanationok but you dont pay to be in a friend group
people lament the wasted potential of blockland and how it could have been a serious roblox competitor, but the only way roblox was able to achieve such success was by becoming a shell of its former self. the game you love from all those years ago will either cease to exist through a standard death or through being perpetually modified until all the elements which drew you in are retooled beyond recognition or discarded outright to increase market viability. you can't have your cake and eat it too etc etcthere's probably a middle ground between 0 moderation and the game being ruined from attempts to maximize profits
I'm not even sure how anyone put up with me for how much of a dumb kid i was back then, i'm lucky that i was somehow able to stay out of bad groups and find a bunch of good friends heresame, pretty much the worst thing that happened was i lost my key and i wasted a bunch of time being one of the three libs on here
I guess it's just when viewing the forum when not logged in that it filters it. Still strange though.might be some kind of SEO trick
To be fair though, even after the key leak happened he chose to save the game and address some other bugs instead of letting it crash and burn - surely there must be some part of him that still gives a stuff? I seem to recall badspot saying that he would continue to support the game as long as people continued to play - and believe it or not quite a few people still enjoy playing blockland, myself included. of course the number of players certainly has dwindled since the key leak, there is no denying that ):as long as this game is selling like more than one copy a month he will probably continue doing the bare minimum to keep the servers up, authentication working, etc. but the forums dont make him money at all so the fact theyre still up is a surprise. i guess he values it as an add-on and save repository.
you've got 10,000 posts on the blockland forum, are you mentally stable?
