Had you read the OP but not the topic, you would know that he was being cheated on I think. Still, it's up for trying. I'll ask dad about it, he's asleep right now.

Besides my mom cheated on my dad and she didn't have any money to leave but she did anyways in LESS THEN a year. And if he has to give her money or she'll call the cops, you do realize you can contest this in court if your dad isn't doing anything wrong, and he's not obligated to give her a dime in the first place. If he goes to a divorce lawyer and files for divorce they can determine who get's the house and the children. I know I've gone through this myself. It was settled out of court that my mom to leave and take the car and my dad keep the house and split custody. And as I was saying my mom had no money and she got a stuffty apartment for $300 a month, which if you're living off of minimum wage is affordable, not saying it's not hard but it's affordable.

It seems you are concentrating anger in yourself due to your mother, that's bad.I'm not, I was just annoyed by him. I'm a calm person IRL, but that guy knew how to annoy. That happened before I knew about my mom being crazy and all the drama in my life.
I'm not any psychologist, but I have experienced the same thing you did. I just ignored it and moved on. Kill the anger inside you, be patient, it'll end, one day.

That's touching. No joke. That actually got to me. I guess since I'm 17 and while I still have a pretty good relationship with my parents I've naturally strayed away as most teens my age do. When I see pictures of when I was younger its give me that same feeling that it won't happen again. I can relate to the feeling you have.Thanks, Dest. I hope that you're right. :I
I'm not exactly sure of the legal procedure involved with divorce. I've always assumed the parents fight in court for custody. I would assume your dad would receive custody though considered your mom has no job and I doubt the judge will release two kids to a parent with no job.
