Suggestions & Requests / A Simple Script

I was wondering if someone could make a simple voting script so at the start of my slayer minigame voting starts for 3 customizable options, then when whichever of the 3 wins, it activates an event like (ONVOTEOPTION3 WIN)
If someone could do this it'd be greatly appreciated

I've been having issues with many bugs in a new voting system I recently developed for my DuckHunt Server. One of the main issues is a respawnall onminigame reset with a 1 second  delay that doesnt seem to be functioning correctly.
It's set up like this [1001]Onminigamereset > Minigame > RespawnAll
If anyone is good with events I would appreciate it if you could come to the server and help me troubleshoot the problems.

Duck Hunt

Duckhunt, the game where you hunt ducks... (Unless your in Soviet Russia, then the ducks hunt you...)

I've been hosting Duckhunt for a long time, many of you might remember the original versions of it. I've progressed a long way since then, and so has this build. I've been working hard along with my many co-builders to establish V3. I'm proud to announce that V3 is nearly complete! We've been working hard these past few days to iron out the kinks, and after many tries, the voting system has been organized and fixed. Now all thats left to do is finish the testing stages of the new map and it will be all operational!

V3- New Map (Similair to classic but on a large scale with a few new additions and a much more appealing enviorment)

V2- Old Map (The original direction I was planning to take Duckhunt, but many found that shooting from a distance instead of being able to walk through the enviorment wasn't quite the same. I eventually reverted back to V1 as the main map of Duckhunt)

V1- Classic Map (The original Duckhunt map. Although it has the updates that I've been applying over the time period that I've been hosting it, it's still good old fun!)

All maps are now accessible through our new voting system. To reduce potential lag we've move the builds far apart so that you don't have to render all three at once. Images of all three maps will be added to the topic soon.

Upcomming Updates
DuckHunt V3.3 Updates
-V3 Map will finish testing stages
-V3 Map will get foliage
-V3 Map will recieve addition hiding spots
-Credit system will be changed to also include the original helpers (I.E. from V1 & V2)
-Further Updates to be announced

Admin Applications
All admin applications are not garunteed to be accepted simply because you followed the guidelines.
Also, building/eventing skills will go a long way In your application.

1. Have 2 reputable Blockland Hosts be witnesses to testify you are capable and responsible
2. Understand that abusive Administrators are subject to possibly being banned
3. Post info in this topic
   A. Name
   B. Why you want to be admin
   C. Why you should be picked above others
   D. The two reputable hosts that will vouche for you (I will verify this)
   E. List of prior severs you have been administrator on (I don't expect a list of your sever and a bunch of free SA servers
   F. Do you understand that if you break the rules as admin after your 5 day probationary period you are subject to more severe punishment
   G. You will follow all server rules, and not abuse powers or participate in flame wars
4. Keep in mind that if you begin a troll war on the forums or elsewhere, you are subject to loose your admin powers.
5. You remain active. As of now I'm clearing the current admin lost and only giving out admin to active players

Ever since I have been able to host I have made decent and fun builds that many enjoy. If you have played my servers before many of you will know the three main builds I rotate around (Lazer Tag, Duck Hunt, Jail Escape). You will also notice that besides those, there hasn't really been any production and the only new build is Lazer Tag. With the exception of a monstrous siege map that has been in development since forever due to my being dissatisfied with the outcome of the landscape. The real problem I face is developing new ideas that can be hosted in a fun, efficient, and stand-a-lone way(Not like Jail Escapes if you catch my drift). If you have any suggestons, I would gladly be willing to attempt at constructing them.


P.S. I am also willing to host other's builds on a few conditions
1. The build(s) do not contain excessive spam, and/or look unpleseant.
2. If it contains mods I do not possess you link them to me so we do not have issues
3. Build(s) not be stolen (If they are it will result in a ban, no exceptions)
You WILL recieve Super Admin and credit for creating the build (obviously), but
admin abuse is not tolerated and if so your Adminship will be terminated. I will still
host the server for you and you will still recieve credit but you will not under any
circumstances recieve adminship again.

Help / Lag Problems

I was just hosting the other day when I restart my server and all of a sudden it's choppy and laggy. The server players don't report it but I can barely accomplish simple things with the lag. I'd appreciate some explanation on this issue and possible solution. Thanks!

Hello, I'm currently constructing a build the relys heavily on x4 cubes. This was all dandy until I ran into issues with my current brick packs. I've notice no brick packs offer x4 height wall bricks, I'd appreciate it if someone  could make these.

Help / Server Problems

I have recently been having issues with my server having no ping. So far I have attempted restarting my computer and port fowarding, neither of which was succesful. I do not know what could be causing this as previously this computer was able to operate servers fine without port fowarding. I do know that recently I transfered add-ons, saves, client & server folders from another computer. I'm not sure if that could have affected this one but I look foward to your assistance thanks :D

Help / Trench Warfare problems.

Recently, I've been having issues with trench warfare. I've attempted to create a new idea for my Duck Hunt but Trench Wars Game mode has prevented me from digging. I've tried changing the selected colors and bricks but neither has worked. I think there might be a conflicting mod. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be?

Global
Global is a game I made way back when, I decided to return to building. In the past couple of days I've finished up with the beta stage and now have a much larger area for play and increased spawn ovservatory and much more. Currently in V2.5 I'm working on eventing a Cash/Resource system for all the units. I've made quite a few additions the the units inventory aswell as tweaked the old units abilities. I've also added some new upgrades for sacrificing units although once cash event system is complete it won't require sacrifices. I've had help from my friend raxton who pretty much did the entire tiresome task of duping all the old units into the new spawn building. He's also helped out with suggestions and ideas for new units. I will soon be upgrading the Cash/Resource system as well as changing the terrain and size of map often. New units will be added in the future.

Drama / Count Bleck and Idiots on Irc

Well today I met  Count Bleck, an idiot. After getting switched so that the teams were correctly balanced on my Duck Hunt, he got pissed, left then rejoined, and still got sorted onto that team. He the proceeded to bother me on irc, after his first failled attempt to impersonate Ephialties he contied with a second third and fourth attempt, none of which worked might I say. For some reason my third picture will not show up in the fraps folder so I only have his first two attempts. I think this is enough though, to prove my point. My favorite attempt of his was trying to impersonate kaje, after his second attempt I didn't even bother talking I just had to laugh at his stupidity. Flame or Discuss.

Normally I don't have any problems with eventing, but lately I have been having issues with the following events....

  • OnMinigameReset > Self > FireRelay
  • [0] OnRelay > Self > FireRelay

    [1000] OnRelay > Self > VCE_ModVariable > Win
[Add] 1

  • OnRelay > Self > VCE_Ifvariable > Win >= 478
  • [0] OnVariableTrue > Minigame > Round End > 2
[Checked]

[300] OnVariableTrue > Self > VCE_ModVariable > Win [set] 0

  • OnMinigameReset > self > VCE_ModVariable > Win [set] 0

 
Theres also a chatmessage event but that doesn't matter, so if anyone could help me I would be pleased.

Duck Hunt

Anouncment: DuckHunt v2 is currently being worked on. Unfortunatly due to issues with the Trench Wars mod it may be out later then I would prefer. The Idea for v2 is the Ducks spawn in a cavern underground and Hunters must dig into the forest floor to find the sneaky Ducks!

This is a pretty fun little game I thought about making a few days ago. I used the duplicator as you can all probably tell, but I still think it cam out quite nicely. It took a total time of around 45 minutes to complete. I plan to make some additions in the future, or possibly a new map. I got a little help from Raxton he made the outhouse and the small rock design. I was inspired to make this by phflack. Also, thanks to PieSlapper for the original idea.

Off Topic / Mediafire Issue

Well, I couldn't put this in help since it wasn't really related to blockland but I just want to ask if anyone else has been able to connect to mediafire because despite the fact that I have working internet, (as you can tell since I'm posting) both firefox and internet explorer have failed to connect to mediafire. Can someone else try to connect and tell me if they are able or un-able too? Just so I know if it's just me or mediafire itself.
