Pretty sure the whole murder thing was faked as well, a bogus news article published on some site that would take it without proper sources.IIRC the end of the video tells you it's fake, but if it doesn't there's some clues to help you like the shovel in the background of one of the videos
If they were different people, and somebody actually got killed looking for the money, then that would be neat.
also why would the news article have a picture of him if they couldn't identify him
