we arnt needing labor to build a nation anymore. so the open arms and no rules of joining us just dosnt apply anymore. especially since we have become such a major welfare state.

There's still an economic incentive to take in more immigrants. Unless you're completely unemployed for half your adult life, it's really not that hard to be productive enough to offset the cost of social programs. The average person doesn't use more than $53,000 worth of government services in a year, every year, for the rest of their life.

It all boils down to this:  it is possible to find anecdotal evidence that can both support and oppose any viewpoint.

Does this mean that conservatives will lighten up on generalizing liberal protestors as violent? Probably not. But I can only hope.

I don't know if it's me, but just thinking of the stuff that I've done in the past seriously makes me cringe.

Literally everybody has this. Think of it conversely - is there really anyone who has done everything exactly like they wanted to? Of course not.

I DONT want to be reminded of my early posts.

I've made peace with my early posts. My forum account is nearly a decade-old and works as a pretty good chronicle of my development through adolescence. It would be jarring if my posts as a 11 year old were just as good as my posts today.

did you even read the stats or their sources or did you immediately go "right-wing fake news" like everyone else seems to be doing nowadays

I'm just saying - if I was looking for reputable information on the Holocaust, my first stop wouldn't be Stormfront.

Its a classic liberal playing card, only difference here is, there wasn't even an attempt at being subtle about it.  

Filtering sources by credibility is like a basic part of filtering evidence. If that website has anything valuable to say, it can be summarized in unbiased sources of statistics/data.

I have seen them post blatantly false stuff in the past, and as you can guess they always accuse Annoying Orange of being a national socialist and comparing him to Riddler. I remember a few weeks ago they took something down for being wrong even by their standards

We're in agreement here. Their page is just meme trash through-and-through.

All I'm saying is that I'm pretty sure that specific image is fake, since it's just a little bit too stupid to just be the result of political bias.

I'm not saying they aren't biased, just that they're pretty prolific on social media and would definitely notice that blatant history mistake.

I reverse image searched it and can't find any posts from Occupy Democrats. It's all just posts on /r/The_Donald and similar meme sites mocking the history mistake. So yeah, it's probably fake.

That image comes off strongly like satire of liberals, and I don't think OccupyDemocrats would mistakenly release an image claiming Riddler built the Berlin Wall.
