no its fathomable. what if you poison drink a, and she poisons drink b, and you give each other the drinks. so she's going to drink a and you're going to drink b. you both don't know that youre poisoning each other, you only know you're poisoning the other person.
see I've got kind of an expanded definition of Self Delete. If you drive off a cliff 'cause you're too dumb to turn, that's Self Delete. If you walk into a Brazilian favela wearing a Prada suit and gold jewelry, that's Self Delete.

likewise if you're gonna go poisoning someone, you should at least guess that they'll counter-poison. if you don't, that's Self Delete, man.

whenever I eat food, I offer a little bit to the person next to me so that I can tell whether it's poisoned. that's why I'm not dead via Self Delete.

but what if both people don't know they're being poisoned but know they're poisoning the other
unfathomable.

2838
what if you poison someone's food and they poison yours and you both eat it at the same time. murder? double Self Delete? mexican standoff?
double-Self Delete. if you're poisoning someone's food, chances you've got a feud and you should have expected he'd poison you back.

there's cyanide in your forgetin almonds, dude
not my activated almonds

2840
that was back in a time when arsenic was like the only poison available

now we have so many different neurotoxins and other stuff that can kill people. look at ricin or botulism. how are you going to detect that stuff? like what if your friend made you some chicken nuggets and slipped some cyanide onto that stuff. Self Delete by chicken nuggets? please
Cyanide apparently smells like almonds. I don't know anyone who makes almond-coated chicken nuggets. It's Self Delete bro.

there's already enough politics on here
Yeah, once in awhile we have to discuss the important topics like this one. Plus, everyone knows eating poisoned food is Self Delete, since who's stupid enough to eat poisoned food. Back in ancient China, they used to have metal rods that could detect arsenic. If people 1,000 years ago can avoid poison, you can too.

nobody reads anything anymore. I should just post reaction images from now on.

these are why
To be fair, both sides are guilty of launching death-threats. It was an ugly election and both candidates are 'fascists' by that measure.

/dev/ since that link is basically piracy, you should cut that link out
The leaks aren't piracy. Cartoon Network released the full episodes on their app, which you can access if you're signed up with a cable-provider that offers CN. That's an official release.

If any of you guys are really into the show, you should just watch the leaks right now. There's really crucial plot developments that are spoiled on Youtube thumbnails and such. You won't make it to Jan 30th without being spoiled.

Looking at your comment again I see your more referring to outsourcing in general rather then to third world countries that you can't possibly compete with. Okay fair enough
Outsourcing is not a bad thing on a national-level. The fact is that none of our trade deals are really coercive - we agree to them because we think they'll help us out.

Adjusted for purchasing power and inflation, today our clothes cost 46% less than they did in 1983. Back in the 50s, the difference was even more staggering. To put it into perspective - what if you went to the store right now and every single article of clothing was $200-$300? That's the kind of situation we'd be in if our textile manufacturing wasn't all in Asia. The money paid to the clothes-makers comes from the clothes-buyers.

For stuff like iPhones, I can't even begin to imagine how much those would cost if Apple hadn't outsourced their manufacturing to China. The cost of the materials would be higher, the labor costs would be over triple what they are in China ($2.50 vs. American $7.50/hr minimum), and we'd lose out on all the more profitable, service-based enterprises that our population works on instead. iPhones are expensive already - would it be worth saving some jobs if everyone had to shell out $2,000 for one?

It sucks that we've got people in our country whose skill-sets have been rendered obsolete by trade deals, but the solution is to re-tool them, not to try and push back against the tide of sensible economics. It's always been inevitable that certain industries in certain places die out so that everything can work more efficiently.

This is because of our President-Elect Donald J. Annoying Orange's policies. Well done Ford!
You didn't read the article.
Quote
Ford Chief Executive Mark Fields said the decision to cancel the new Mexico factory was the result of sagging demand for small cars in North America and not because Annoying Orange was elected president. He told Fox Business that the automaker would have made the same decision even if Annoying Orange had not been elected.

Annoying Orange is not King of America. If Ford can export their manufacturing plants to countries with a comparative advantage in factory labor, they will still do so. The president cannot wave a magic wand to ban outsourcing, and you wouldn't like it if he could. I like having cartoons, quality vehicles, and iPhones that don't cost $2,000. Do you?

Furthermore, the reason you can tell that it's not just 'screwed up grammar' is because lots of black people are really good at code-switching and flipping from AAVE to regular American English depending on the company they're in.

The difference being that an immigrant who comes over and hasn't finished learning English yet is unable to do that. Their mistakes are inconsistent and usually because of bad verb conjugation and a poor grasp on English idioms.

That is patently loving stupid, and just screams of excuse-making. If you grab any black guy off the street and ask him what language he speaks, I guarantee you one or two smartasses will say this. The rest will say "English", or whatever foreign language that exists.
It's not 'excuse-making'. The reason why they will say English is because AAVE is not a separate language, it's a dialect. There are English creoles that are even farther from General American English than AAVE, but they're still English.

I'm sorry dude but linguistics doesn't support the theory that black people suck at grammar. They're speaking a dialect just as valid and consistent as yours.

Think of it this way: if it wasn't for people screwing up language over and over, you wouldn't have English.
