The problem with the idea that shooting cops is justified by police brutality is that the cops that have been wounded or killed likely have NO CONNECTION IN ANY WAY to the recent incidents in which police shot unarmed civilians.I don't think any sane person believes that murdering random cops is justifiable by police brutality.
North Korea was on the verge of making peace too. They verbally committed to toning down their nuclear weapons program in response to the broad sanctions imposed on them by the UN.
if you commit 3x the crime you have 3x the chance of being shotMoltenKitten has a point here. I would like to see though whether the fatal-shooting rate is higher per incident (controlled for same type of crime) for one group.
It's not supposed to address the point. It's supposed to teach you how to not get shot. I'll actually expand that advice to anyone who is, or very easily can be, using potentially legal force to control you. If you do what they say, you're far less likely to get loving shot.I'd say the same logic applies to burglars and meth-heads as well. Kind of sad that we have to group our police officers in with them.
I'm going to give all of you a tip for dealing with police officers that will likely reduce the chance of you getting shot to almost none:I mean, you're not wrong, but it's kind of missing the point. We're pretty much the only developed nation whose police force relies on lethal force instead of de-escalation. He probably would have lived had he not struggled, but that doesn't justify allowing a servant of the public to basically execute someone for resisting arrest.
Don't fight the officers.
wow. he literally said if it wasn't clinton, the person would've been indictedThat's not what he said. He said that an ordinary government employee (read: an underling) would receive sanctions or disciplinary actions for doing the same thing that Hillary did. Neither Hillary nor an underling would be indicted for this because professional incompetence is not necessarily a crime.
As for what keeps Russia from nuking us, it's... our nukes. And global politics? Nuking the United States would mean receiving sanctions and retaliatory strikes from practically every devloped nation on Earth, which would cause the Russian government to dissolve.
That's a little AuthoritarianI don't think you know what that word means.
Artist Number 1: Mystical (AKA plantpenetrator)I see some common trends here.
