Seventhsandwhich raped me, grimlock, torin, tito, and weathernerd.  We can all verify that
I think my participation on this forum is a better disqualifier from running for office than any ostensible loveual assaults of mine.

Disqualify them from running for office? Probably not.

But should you vote for someone who has had like five people, completely unaffiliated with each other and with no material incentive to do so, come out and accuse them of rape and other horrifying stuff?

I wouldn't. Remember we're fielding people for a job here. If you owned a daycare and got five messages from different people claiming that one of your applicants diddles children, would you hire them or would you be like 'well I haven't seen it proved beyond a shadow of a doubt in a court of law'.

i'd feel better about it if they weren't loving with the states
why not just feel bad about it regardless? does it make that much of a difference which level of government kills net neutrality? a bad thing is a bad thing regardless of whether it comes from state or federal gov't

I'm reasonably impressed by how the conservatives here are responding to this, but remember that this was 100% expected to happen if Annoying Orange was elected president.

AP US History is already a pretty weird class since the curriculum is made up by the ultra-liberal College Board.
is that why politicians strong-armed the college board into whitewashing out curriculum that talks about stuff like manifest destiny?

AP US History is going to be a pretty weird class fifty years down the road.

schools can mandate that you change shirts if it's on their campus, but I doubt this applies to field trips.

I try to keep his spirit alive in every way I can muster.
This comment is probably the most interesting old-Blockland thing that's happened here in years.

can you elaborate a bit more? i'm having trouble making a line of logic that connects more hunting to more live elephants

unless this is a mcjoke in which case i'm a fool
The countries that elephants inhabit are historically extremely poor. There is very little economic incentive to put away massive swathes of land and resources to protect the ecosystem.

However, when rich people come over to do 'big game hunting', they get to shoot one of many hundreds of elephants (usually ones that are sick, or overly aggressive to the point where they endanger other animals) and they spend ridiculous amounts of money, which gets used to secure more habitat and fight against poaching. The net effect is that one elephant dies but many more are saved.

interested to see how conservatives mental-gymnastic this one

"the environment goes through natural cycles of being filled with thousands of gallons of toxic, carcinogenic petroleum chemicals. human industry has no influence on this"

axiom 1: legal big-game-hunting protects elephants by putting large amounts of money into conservation efforts which wouldn't be there otherwise
axiom 2: allowing people to bring back elephant trophies will incentivize weird rich people to go big-game-hunting

theorem: this move will help protect elephants

Annoying Orange sucks but this actually seems like a good idea.
