Help / Re: are there any good bots on blockland?
« on: August 27, 2009, 07:30:07 AM »
Badspot crapOn'd it since it breaks death chat messages, which nobody really cares about, honestly. I was able to get it working by tampering with the file.
It also is abusive as hell... You can give the bots things like Banhammer and Blowtorch and they can use them without being admin.

Help / Re: Blockland.exe is not responding...

Post your console.log please.

Questions -
Does this happen on only your server? Or when you join others aswell?
If only your server - Disable some prints
If others - Console log.

Have you downloaded any new add-ons recently?
If so - disable them in your server, or delete them if other servers.

isnt it program files/blockland/screenshots
They are only the default screenshots and on Vista it does not install to program files.

Has Blockland been known to have faults on 64 bit?
Nope, I am running faultlessly on 64.

what triple core possessor only has 2.4ghz? I have a quad core that has 6.7. that is kinda low for a triple core.
2.4 for each core. So 2.4x3 = 7.2 however you always lose a bit so it would probably be around 6.5
Also, not a helpful comment.

I will agree with Nick that this is a very weird problem, there seems to be no errors in your fresh install of Blockland and all your components should support Blockland. Erm, what I would try next is try to update any drivers (Dont use Windows update, it sucks. Manually go and find your drivers at the respective websites, especially for your GPU).

Have you tried running in XP compatability? I do that :3. Some people have it working without I believe. But yeah, right click shortcut, properties, compatability, change the drop down to XP Service Pack 2 and then also tick the Administrator box aswell (just to be sure).

Im assuming your old computer was XP

Could you post your console.log (after you have recieved the crash). It may be something wrong with the install. Also - I would suggest running in administrator mode, and also dont install BL to the programme files folder on Vista (I think)... I believe it has some funky permissions on vista which make things go craaaaazy.

Help / Re: Good add-ons don't seem to work?
« on: August 24, 2009, 11:47:53 AM »
Hmm. Are you downloading through RTB or the forums for the ones which dont appear?
Also - Delete GreekBots and Minigame++   They are on Badspot's Crapon list for a reason.

Is there any way i can access my router without a username or password

No.
Ask your parents for the password? Try using the details Username:Admin Password:password. Factory reset?

Help / Re: Blockland screwd my comp up!?!?!?
« on: August 21, 2009, 02:39:18 PM »
this is what happenes when impatient kids press the blockland shortcut 400 TIMES.
If you look, blockland has not been opened multiple times - Look at the task bar. The image has just messed up. I get this sometimes if a programme crashes and then I try to move the picture around. Which is why I first assumed GPU or RAM related problems.

Try disabling some prints and any new add-ons you added.

What is your graphic card? Does it support OpenGL? How much RAM do you have? When does this happen?

Dont enable DMZ unless you are using a de-militerized zone.
Helpful paint drawn diagram.
