Help / Re: (Tutorial) How To Port Forward On a Mac
« on: August 19, 2009, 04:34:10 PM »
This guide only works for a specific router, the Airport (which is a router made by Apple which I believe they often distribute with Macs). If you have a normal router, even with a Mac, you have to do it the old "Type the IP address in an internet browser" method.

Help / Re: ►How to post Images with Photobucket

Good guide.

Ph - I prefer Photobucket because you can store all your pictures together on an account and can get to them from any computer, you dont have to find the link.

The system has changed quite a few times since I joined Blockland.
When I started it was 28000-28030
Then I think V9 made it 28000-28032 (or more for more server slots)
and I think now adays its just open the amount of ports you want players. So if you want 50 players and the server to appear alive to do 28000-28050 (I think)

Sadly, without your parents permission (as they have the password it seems), you will be unable to port forward and host :/

What speed internet are you on? Unless you are on a relatively low bandwith and you are hosting a relatively huge server with lots of add-ons/on a high spec game. I doubt it will decrease your internet speed.

Find your router http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm and then click Blockland. Follow the tutorial but change the port range to 28000-28032 rather than 28030. If the user and password dont work, ask your parents.

The router name and pass... But that is usually something like Admin Password as default. If you want to find out your default username and password, its on www.portforward.com

I think its a stupid add-on which serves no real point. It is just laggy and pointless. I would say dont download or attempt to aquire it, and to those who have it, please dont distribute it.

Yeah I believe so, try putting the router IP into an internet browser :3

Help / Re: Help my ports!
« on: August 19, 2009, 01:32:01 PM »
This is likely not a problem with your ports.
Try firstly disabling some of your prints.
If this doesnt fix your crashing then try just using default add-ons
And then I would say reinstall.
However please post your console.log here and perhaps somebody can narrow down the problem.

Help / Re: Cant start private server
« on: August 19, 2009, 01:30:10 PM »
Prints quite often crash servers if too many are enabled.
By private do you mean Single player or passworded?

Also, if you make internet/non-passworded does it work?

Do you actually have an Airport router? If not, try putting the router address into an internet browser.
