The Tiger (along with every other german tank) was an over-engineered disaster that was prone to breakdowns and incredibly costly to repair. The only real thing that was good about it was its gun and the fear among the allies that went along with it. The British 17-pounder and the American 76mm guns were quite capable of punching through the front plate of the thing.
Also while the 75mm on the Churchill IV may not have been able to penetrate a Tiger at most engagement distances, armor fatigue would most likely set in at the front, which could eventually lead to hull break.
