Off Topic / Raging in/at games

When I was at a server earlier today, a DM, someone said something that raises an interesting question. What they said can be summed up as this: if you get angry when doing bad in a game, or for other game-related reasons in general, you have no life. To this, I can not totally agree.
I think it's perfectly fine for someone to get mad while playing a game, or provoked, or frustrated, etc. You see, it is only something that would take any quality of life from them if the issue constantly nags at them, always occupying their thoughts, when they aren't playing the game. If one becomes enraged at another player or frustrated at the game, and it doesn't bother them when they aren't playing, they certainly aren't some life-lacking degenerate. If the game (as I am currently referring to electronic games) was something like soccer or some other sport you might play after school and you grew angry or frustrated, no one would accuse you of not having a life, so if you grew angry at a videogame, why should someone say something like that?
Of course, in life it isn't so bad to become a little over-occupied with your sport since it's healthy excersise or whatever you feel the reason may be. That's where there's a difference, as becoming too occupied with a game is generally frowned upon. Either way, getting angry or frustrated while playing a game isn't anything terrible, just as long as it doesn't carry over to your life.
Opinions?
