Looks fun, despite the low-detailing of your builds.

I would definitely. :c
shh
And Jolt was referring to how he got stuck in a building with someone else, not that he was leaving :o

If you have the power to change something for the better, why don't you do it? You're not a god. You're lazy to the fact that your server is currently crumbling in the hands of corruption. I hardly go there anymore because of these immoral occurrences. But why don't we fix a couple things? I understand you're busy, but we need more social involvement. There's nothing but drama half of the time!

I'm telling you, I'm one to complain, but this is an actual issue of concern.

Do understand, however, that I know of your current actions against corruption, and they're good ones at that, like that idea to place specific experience points for different job paths. But let's bring some more humane morality into this situation, and brighten up the dull and weak parts of the judicial system.
your "gods" don't give a stuff about anything you care about, etc.

If you left, no one would care.

Radius-based, because a criminal would just have to duck behind something to Self Delete if it accounted for bricks.
Kay, good :D

IDEA: How about there is a timer for when that player was last seen if they can Self Delete? They can't Self Delete till after the cops haven't seen them for 30 seconds. I think the criminal would have gotten away if the criminal wasn't seen for 30 seconds.
This pretty much does the same thing, since you'd need to go to an isolated part of the map to be completely out of range of any players.

It doesn't matter what game you play, nothing you add has to do with the real world, I'm just comparing the fact that the real world follows moral standards that involve social issues, which can just as easily occur here.

You cannot neglect the fact that these people are from the real world, and will most likely get into a situations that commonly occur in the real world, which in this case is scamming, which is against the law.
Your morals don't apply on the server c:

Actually, I think I'll clarify on that; think of all the other immoral things that go on during the typical day in Metropolis.  Assassinations are commonplace, it's not out of the question to pay for someone to be killed, cops are corrupt, your "gods" don't give a stuff about anything you care about, etc.

Ok, ok.

When we say that we want you to get screenshots of people breaking rules, we meant we wanted you guys to give us screenshots of people breaking serious rules.  Not screenshots of stupid little stuff that we probably wouldn't even kick someone for because you're butthurt over some drama and just want to get that person in trouble.  Or whatever your motives are, I don't know.

5 day ban for AFK avoidance. Omg.
Like that shouldn't have happened months ago.

How are people's record supposed to be cleared if you can't trust anybody?
I said he trusted the wrong person, not that nobody can be trusted and that it's some loving trust apocalypse that's going to end up with you losing all of your money and getting cancer.

Also, I have a complaint about the Mobster path. If pickpocketing is the only way to get EXP besides killing, it's extremely rare if not nonexistent. It's also very difficult. I have to resort to killing people for EXP, which still barely works. I can't change my job because that costs 3 EXP. I'm stuck here, any help?
I'm not sure if Diggy ever had the chance to apply the EXP chance updates to the server before he had all of the computer issues.  They were already tweaked to give you better chances, but like I said, not sure if they're in effect.

In real life, scamming is illegal. If there is no way to punish someone directly with demerits, he/she should still be punished. Like it or not, Shard is innocent, and Jasa is guilty.

If I get robbed, I don't go to the judge just for him to say "Your door was unlocked. Use common sense next time you dope!".

Once again, the server is not based off of the real world.  In fact, Diggy based a lot of the crime system off of the Grand Theft Auto series.  So yeah, expect nothing less.

wanted Self Delete if there's no law people around
Is it a radius-based search, or does it account for bricks?

You're shard, I'm guessing?
And seriously, scamming people isn't against the common sense rule, it just shows a lack of common sense on your behalf.  You trusted the wrong person.

You should be able to Self Delete on your own lot though, that way a cop can't just stand there at your house if you get stuck while building it or whatever.
Then wanteds will just Self Delete when cops finally break into their hideouts, and you can imagine the stuffstorm that would create.

Technically sight is the same thing as radius, so yeah, it would be radius. So that would mean, if there was a police man inside the building the criminal is about to commit Self Delete in, he probably wouldn't be able to kill himself. I'm not sure. There's plenty loopholes to this plan, however it will help the bounty issue.
I do like the idea of the suiciding if nobody is around but would it be a radius or just by sight?
@Diggy
General sidenote on that suiciding change, when you do the container search to find players to determine if the wanted person can Self Delete, it's probably a good idea to search through bricks, too, so wanteds can't just run around a corner and kill themselves.

That means by radius, so a wanted person wouldn't be able to Self Delete in the vicinity of another player (With a few exceptions, probably, like other criminals).

And ham, rapid firing to annoy people isn't really against the rules, but jailing with it is.  I don't know if I missed that in your screenshots or something.

Why not just leave and rejoin if you're stuck and wanted? It may result in you getting jailed but it's better than being stuck in a brick all day.
Well there's the whole ghosting argument there, but really, if people are alright with rejoining to get the money they just AFK farmed, then they shouldn't have a problem with rejoining if they're stuck.  But no, that's what the admins are for, right?

Seriously, though, we just want to let all players have the convenience of killing themselves at leisure.  Swat suggested making Ctrl+k simply respawn players so they'd keep their money and items, as it would be more convenient for when players get stuck.

Because cops never, ever, ever break into a criminal's hideout to arrest them.  Never.

Also, with those who were asking about the whole suiciding when wanted/bounty'd, Diggy has plans to allow people who are wanted or have bounties on them commit Self Delete, if and only if there isn't anyone around.

I think I'll just join the server and ban everyone who creates any type of drama.  All drama created due to the ban will result in a +10 hours per post relative to that drama.

Sounds good?
