I apologize that your mother didn't let you watch the puberty video. Puberty is not something to be afraid of. It's literally your body maturing, and it makes perfect sense to let people know what they're going to be going through soon. Immaturity exists for a long time, but there's no need to try to stand away from it. The kids who can't help but talk about snakees and vaginas as if they're cool are just trying to cope with the new found freedom of talking about reproductive systems. Let them, soon they'll figure out it's no big deal.

The "lol" was posted as a tension diffuser, to show that I wasn't deeply impacted by the event. Regardless, if I did think it was funny, I'd think it was funny that the event actually connects to my (or more directly, my sister's) life, not that some girl was hurt by this guy.

ROFL. You guys are crazy. You don't need to replace your power supply ASAP. Worst case scenario, you'll start getting BSODs more frequently until your computer either won't power on or will power off randomly. If you're worried about a power surge to your components, I doubt a failing power supply would be able to create a high enough voltage shock to damage components unless it was seriously faulty. I'd say replace your PSU if you keep getting them, otherwise don't worry about it. Not everything works exactly the way it's intended to 100% of the time.

PayPal uses my debit card as a first option. No fee.

Businesses do not usually charge customers the fee, PayPal doesn't. Have you ever bought something with a credit card, and they said something along the lines of "There will be a $2.70 surcharge, is that okay?" They do that because it costs them money to accept that card, and they don't want to eat that loss. Similarly, many stores require you to purchase at least a certain amount of goods to pay with card for the same reason.

I'm pretty sure PayPal prioritizes bank accounts for payment because it doesn't cost anything to draw from them directly, whereas credit (and debit) cards cost a fee to the people taking money (PayPal). I have the option to use my credit card, but it always defaults to bank.

I was the first person in most of my friend groups to try most drugs. People are stupid and do stupid drugs, just because they did it doesn't mean it's something I want to put in my body.

There's a difference between pressure and being randomly inspired by others' actions. If someone pressures me to do a kegstand, I'll probably do it, but I'm not going to get up there just because I saw someone else do it.

This actually popped into my head a week ago or so and I still have no idea how you could be influenced to make such a huge decision based off the fact that someone you sort of know via an online forum doing the same thing.
