He's a wreckless driver and he assaulted a kid
I chuckled because "wreckless" is kind of the opposite of what you were going for but it's still true afaik

Off Topic / Re: Just had $400 stolen in bitcoin

Or, better yet, keep your bitcoins stored offsite. Like, on blockchain. They're safe there, they won't get stolen, and if your harddrive crashes you're not stuff out of luck.

I would love to see the code fixed, as I have been looking for this myself
The code I posted works pretty well.

He only got console errors because his misuse of it caused it to blow up.

General Discussion / Re: Donation Systems for Servers
« on: November 08, 2013, 12:08:10 PM »
$700 isn't a ridiculous amount of money over mulitple years by anyone's standards. Working part time at McDonalds will net you that much money in a month. Even if Tezuni did make $700, the rate at which he made it kind of defeats the purpose of even asking.

However, I am a huge fan of the idea of donation systems for servers. If every single active Blockland user donated $5 a month to their favorite server, really good servers could potentially bring in hundreds of dollars a month to support progressive development of their servers. As popularity falls, income falls too. What better incentive to make your server the best possible? Not to mention, the work required to create and host a high quality server definitely justifies some kind of benefit.

Drama / Re: Hijacked Keys?

The only people I can think of doing this are the likes of Lando, MARBLE MAN, and Dotdot. But those are all just wild guesses.
Nope, nope, and definitely not.

Okiver is a loving opsec moron. I've literally never heard of anyone being less egregious with their anonymity. Look at this, using the same username across websites, not creating layered pseudoidentities to prevent things like this, operating out of his home, posting directly incriminating messages onto a god damn messageboard, and in every possible way been a total dumbass. Calling him a hacker is like calling a scat special interestist a plumber.

Because he is in starfish to other people and he thinks he is better then them.
In brazil he was there for 3 days, yet he already annoyed tons of people there.
He is better than them. There's a reason he's rich and famous as forget. He is actually better than the average person.

You have no code that decides what object to lock onto, you're actually referencing the variable %object when no value has been assigned to it.

Ironic, I replied to your PM literally 5 seconds before you made this topic.

Yeah, sure. No problem. What you have to do is create a new projectile that's turned towards the player.

Code: [Select]
function ProjectileData::HomeToObject(%this, %projectile, %object) {
if(!isObject(%object) || !isObject(%projectile))
return;
if(%projectile.age > %projectile.getDatablock().lifetime*2)
return;
%speedScale = vectorLen(%projectile.getVelocity());
%projectilePosition = %projectile.getPosition();
%forwardVector = %projectile.getVelocity();
%normalDist = vectorSub(%object.getPosition(), %projectilePosition);
for(%i = 0; %i < 3; %i++)
%deltaVector = %deltaVector SPC mClampF(getWord(%normalDist,%i), getWord(%forwardVector,%i) - (0.5*%speedScale), getWord(%forwardVector, %i) + (0.5*%speedScale));
%deltaVector = vectorScale(vectorNormalize(getSubStr(%deltaVector, 1, strLen(%deltaVector) - 1)), %speedScale);
%projectile.setName("homingProjectile");
%newProjectile = new Projectile(:homingProjectile) {
initialPosition = %projectilePosition;
initialVelocity = %deltaVector;
age = %projectile.age + 1;
};
MissionCleanup.add(%newProjectile);
%projectile.delete();
%newProjectile.getDatablock().schedule(50, HomeToObject, %newProjectile, %object);
}
