Every time we watch a movie on the TV we have to use my moms windows laptop which is slow as stuff. She always bitches about how slow it is and how macs are so much better. But guess what? We sure as stuff can't use my brothers macbook air because theres no loving HDMI port. So it's PC or bust.
Wheres your god now maccigarettes?

The updated Thunderbolt 3 now supports speeds up to 40 gigabits per second, four times faster and with twice the video bandwidth of any other cable, while still being able to supply power. With its full support for USB 3.1 it delivers power based on the USB spec, able to push 100 watts for notebook charging and deliver 15 watts for bus-powered devices. Thunderbolt 3's 40Gbps also allows for dual 4K monitor support over a single cable, as well as speedy 10-gigabit Ethernet networking.
The port supports the latest generation of USB devices. Yeah, USB 3 and earlier versions won't fit, but it's the same deal with the iPhone swap to the Lightning connector from a while ago, at first everyone will be pissed off and there will be that confusion of "Do you have a cord?" "Yeah." "Ah, man, I got a new macbook, can't use your mouse" except less annoying because instead of a charging cable it's just a periphery device. Also, we're talking about a laptop here: who plugs periphery devices into laptops nowadays? I use my USB port for one thing: plugging in a flash drive to transfer music to my DJ turntables. Aside from that, I don't think I have ever used them. And guess what, I don't even need to use it for that if I don't want to, because it's 2016 and my DJ turntables can sync over wifi to my computer without needing a USB drive or other cable to connect them. Just like printers, mice, keyboards, external hard drives, and any other common periphery device.
