It's hardly my fault how overly sensitive some of the babies here are. If they didn't flip out about someone making a joke about their richard so damn hard, there wouldn't be any issues.

Side-note to further establish the lack of credibility Taboo carries: he claims the reason our argument started was because of 'someone making a joke about [my] richard size.' In fact, the only joke made about my richard size was an insult thrown well into the argument, which I specifically ignored:
trinick posted a weirdly in-depth study on average richard sizes; he is hell bent on asserting his mediocrity

My conclusion is that Taboo has some actual perception problem in which he thinks things are going better for him than they really are. People couldn't possibly be arguing with me because I said something dumb, they're just mad that I said they have small richards. Trinick ran out of that thread because he had no counter-point to my argument, not because his argument in the first place was that people shouldn't even bother arguing with me. I'll bet he even believes that he successfully checkmated me in our last argument, and that's why he has the final two posts. Once again, arguing with him is like arguing with a child.

Technically neither Taboo nor SeventhSandwich have used ad hominem in this thread yet. I would have called Taboo out on it. He came close once, but it was only an implied ad hominem circumstantial because although he said that circumstance shifted my view he didn't actually express that my view was wrong because of it.

Also, the definition posted by McZealot is incorrect:
i ad hominem all the time. it can be fun to heat up an argument assuming it's alongside a legitimate point.

That's just an insult. Insults and ad hominem attacks are different.

My sister drives an RSX base. She's had it over ten years without any major problems. It's got a good feel to drive. The rear seats are really small though (not GT-R status, but still small) so I wouldn't buy it if you'll commonly be needing to drive more than one person with you. The trunk is spacious so that's a plus. It's got a surprising amount of get-up-and-go for its little 4-banger, I assume the Type S is even more impressive. Downsides include FWD and the awful spoiler on the Type S.

*sigh*

Picked apart by who? You attempted to pick it apart, but I already told you that you have no credibility. Nobody else addressed me. I'm sorry that you're delusional, but I'm actually wasting my time right now trying to tell you why you're wrong. Stop being inflammatory to try to generate a response.

Ran out of a thread? I told you that you weren't worth arguing with, so I didn't engage in an argument with you. You're funny, but at this point I've made my ethical obligation to educate you and this is devolving into an argument.

first i've heard of it

Dunno what to tell ya then. [1][2][3] and the object called a girth which is a band that goes around an animal's torso (usually to secure a saddle) obviously hails from this definition as well.

C'mon now, not knowing math is one thing, but this is English! Your profession! Oh wait.

The connotation of the term 'girth' actually defaults to the circumference of a person's torso at the largest part.

sorry i don't obsess over richard size enough to know the technical terms ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's got very little to do with richards, it's actually basic geometry. You know, 2*pi*r and pi*r2? Using the commutative property of multiplication you can figure out that 2*pi*r is the same as (2*r)*pi, and 2*r is the same as diameter, which is how wide a cylinder is. So you get pi*diameter = circumference (girth), and use some basic algebra to get circumference/pi = diameter.

And they said you'd never use this stuff in real life.

It's a joke, calm down please, there are children present

I don't know who you are / whose alt you are, but you should probably learn some social skills (such as evaluating the emotions of a post) before posting. I don't know how you managed to construe my sarcastic message as angry.

Total mistake from a development standpoint. Now there are three individual versions that require updating every time the game is updated. The Java version, the C++ .NET verison, and the mobile version.

No, TGE. Some people grabbed a copy way back when and it's been circulating ever since. T3D should work, but keep in mind there's quite a few considerable modifications to the interpreter.

You're welcome!

And hasn't been released otherwise, meaning distribution of it is copyright infringement

Legally, it should be considered abandonware since they no longer offer it for sale and the version it's been developed into is free. They'd have no case.

5 1/2", 5.5" girth

It's a shame that this isn't a cube. To get the width from this you actually need to divide by pi, so you're 5.5 inches long and 1.75 inches wide.
