Yes, because lets face it, there is no need to even use the word realistic with video games- FPS's in particular. Lets say you are getting deployed in another country, fighting for your land and your life. You have a family and kids to go back to home- but you cannot just back out of a lobby. Waiting on the plane/ship to get to that country- you cannot just quit the game before it loads. Or if you get shot or die, you cannot just ragequit in the middle.

You don't have the full weight of gear and a firearm in your hand, running through bullets being scared out of your mind in video games. You run out there, kill people, die, and then respawn later.

You do not face those emotions and all of your memories in video games. Until I have something major- such as my life- to risk in such a game, there is no fear at all. Hur dur fear of your K/D going down DURP

You do not feel your foot hit the accelerator in a humvee or feel your chest get pounded with a shockwave from the IED you just ran the forget over and possible the shrapnel that can render you paralyzed for the rest of your life or just end your life that simply.

It's the fact that you not only came back with an argument in which you turned exactly what I said was wrong with you, and said it was wrong with me. How does that even make sense? You're an idiot. Lets get this straight people, Video games will never be realistic to any extent. You may be fooled with loving 'realistic bullets', 'realistic damage', etc. etc. However, until I get the feelings and emotions I get in real life such as fears, previous knowledge, fitness and health, how tall I actually am or how much I weigh, how much better I can see with my eyes, the fear of being in a foreign land and knowing that any second will be my last walking on Earth as a stray bullet will render my brain useless and knowing that I cannot respawn, having the ability to know how to use guns or the exact opposite- inexperience with firearms, the actual use of TEAMWORK and possibly having a bestfriend next to you get shot and die right in front of your eyes... etc. etc in a video game, they will NEVER be realistic.

then go play quake 3 and stop complaining because you cannot blow through every game using the same play type by killing everything, running around and never dying.

Call of Duty is not a realistic shooter lol, it's more of a run and gun arcade-y shooter.

Ironsights are common. Idk about you, but I WANT to aim at enemies and not hipfire from 100 yards away. Health regen is whatever, an unfortunate part of games. Battlefield doesn't have that though i'm pretty sure HURP. You use cover in real life too. Now what? Using cover is mainstream? go away. Bloody screens are whatever too. MMO style leveling? It's not an MMO though lol.

And maybe he IS real, and the guy who "created" him was simply sharing his actual experience with a sighting of slenderman himself. He didn't want to appear 'crazy', but still needed to share his experience so he posted it in the forums as some sort of way of spreading it.
