I've got a standard NCR trooper and an Assault Rifle. I was consistently getting headshots. It took 5 shots to get his head crippled, and I ended up running out of ammo and finishing him off with a power fist.

NV is supposed to be harder, but this is just unrealistic. I should be able to get a headshot with something like an assault rifle that instantly kills a normal human without a helmet.

Play on "Very Easy"
He might have a helmet on.
Level up your gun skill.
I'm not sure but I heard VATS decreases damage, so just be a pro and run-and-gun
Use a sniper. My sniper 1-hit headshot kills almost everything.

I personally hate joints, and mainly use a bong or roll a blunt. But I will use anything obviously.

You're all idiots if you think that dam picture was a spoiler. Sure, it shows a point in the game. Doesn't spoil anything.

so taking into account that exact screenshot would not apply to most people. Also how do you know exactly what the plane does and how it does it? It doesn't spoil any loving thing if you don't know what it does. So what, trailers are spoilers amirite? They showed New Vegas. That spoiled it, huh?

Derp so do we, Although I do do shrooms, I just do not partake in tripping on acid, popping pills, purple drank. I mean It's chicago where most of the people there are 17-22 so it's not some pusillanimous individual sausage fest :P.
