Suggestions & Requests / Re: Bakugan Add-ons
« on: July 08, 2009, 02:59:32 PM »
Bakugan is for 9-year old kids who have nothing better to do than throw plastic balls that turn into creatures with some form of card game and would make Blockland look worse than Sauerbraten.
What's wrong with Sauerbraten?

Mapping Help / Re: Making Maps = HELP ME!
« on: March 15, 2009, 02:29:18 PM »
I think he meant he wants someone to walk him through how to make a map like bedroom or kitchen.
1. Enable the map editor
2. Mess with it
3. ???????
4. Profit!
Or something.

From a guy with a terrible name, this idea is win. Except for the fact that it screams spam.

21
It would be super realistic!

And by saying that in relation to Blockland, you fail. Anyways... I'm just saying that it could be cool, but it's definitely unneeded and superfluous. I mean, do Lego/building blocks deform? No.

22
Yeah, no log. I've tried reinstalling a few times, still the same.

23
Nope, sorry, no console folder, no console log.

...Maybe I should just wait until v11, it might work then.

Help / Re: How do I make Add-ons?
« on: January 20, 2009, 06:39:32 PM »
Sketchpad is not a modeling program. Well, ok, it is, but not in the sense of the ones they're talking about. It's meant for buildings. MilkShape is meant to be used to make models for things like Blockland Add-Ons. And there are other modeling programs than MilkShape, just look around. I hope I'm right on all of this.

Help / Re: How Do I Make A Save Of A Build And Then Post It?
« on: January 20, 2009, 06:36:30 PM »
You take the save file (It's in the Blockland\Saves folder, in which there are folders of different maps, just go into the one of the map you saved it on.) and upload it to mediafire.com, and then post the link MediaFire gives you into a thread. That's all.

26
Sorry for the double post, but this problem is still really annoying me, if anyone has any other ideas, etc.

27
What do you mean, "just stay on Blockland"? Blockland doesn't even START.

28
And if there IS no console.log? This happens right after I use the shortcut/.exe, nothing comes up.

I recently got this new(ish) computer, and it ran fine and all. Blockland installed fine, but for some reason, when I start it, it just comes up with the windows error thing "Blockland.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience." If I click on the thing "for more information about this error" it shows me the following:
Error Signature
AppName: blockland.exe    AppVer: 0.0.0.0    ModName: blockland.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0    Offset: 00002660

BL worked fine on the computer I had before this one, and so I'm not sure why it's doing this. If I click on the link within the error signature window to see technical info, it just shows a few files (like blockland.exe and ntdll.dll) along with some things that supposedly describe the files, and then a large amount of hex/symbols. Help would be awesome.

It's a GeForce FX 5900 Ultra, and every other game I've tried runs fine with it.
