Drama / Re: Petition to have Pie Crust Permanently Banned

Or this topic and Pie Crust's responses actually made Badspot (and me) chuckle at how utterly ridiculous some of them are, and probably just wants to see how this reaches its conclusion, or is waiting for it to stop being funny.

When I eat pies I don't find myself saying: "wow that crust was great".

yeah but still, idk it may come off to some people as badspot supporting bestiality by not doing something about it

Like I don't know really, I just want pie to leave lol.

I'm pretty sure Badspot doesn't really care what people support and what they don't support (as he shouldn't); as long as they aren't breaking his forums (either by causing chaos/major disruptions/etc) or his game/servers (either by DDOS attacks, crashing, spamming, you know, things that disrupt the game).

There has currently been no fallout from Pie Crusts rather mundane/trollish statements, the OP has not mentioned whether or not he has been causing any major disruptions, topic derails, server attacks, or really anything actually punishable.

In other words: there's actually no reason to ban him besides moral disagreement, and that's not a very good reason in most cases.

Why is admitting to trolling bannable but admitting to bestiality isn't? Can't think of any angle of looking at it that makes jerking off at a dog less bad than being an starfish on the internet.
Because trolling is disruptive to the community as a whole, bestiality is disruptive only to the poor nameless animal that was raped. Besides that, as Badspots comic nicely illustrated the situation, we don't actually have any proof that what Pie Crust is saying is even honest, we can't punish him for him saying stupid stuff unless that stupid stuff somehow disrupts the forums as a whole.

Hopefully he digs a few degrees north and ends up in North Korea.
And then uses his profound words of wisdom and great ideals to convince Kim to step down and allow him to become leader of North Korea.

lol
and what, you're just stating what's been said countless times already because, what, you just thought it was interesting or something?

It was relevant information to the topic in question. Sorry if posting relevant details that aren't outright defensive or aggressive, doesn't make sense without some weird ulterior motive. Next time I'll put my motives for posting things in green text.

Reason: to be informative.

none of that matters because he lives in argentina
The premise that it is not universally unacceptable still applies.

I'm probably late with this, but as far as legality goes...

Zoophilia and as an extension of that, bestiality are not illegal in 13 states. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoophilia_and_the_law_in_the_United_States

And I know from a friend of mine who lives in Washington that the only reason that state now has a law against it, is because someone died by having a horse... use their body and ehem... shread their brown town cavity. I think whoever that guy was won a Darwin award for that at some point.

I didn't know making morally questionable statements is the same as: crashing and DDOSing servers, spamming the forums with mature content, excessive use of intense inflammatory remarks/general douchebaggery.

I also didn't know that you have to be a troll in order to not care when people criticize your writing.

I think the only actual time poll results ended with someone getting banned was when someone put "Ban the OP" as an option, and literally everyone picked that. Badspot actually banned him proclaiming that (and I'm paraphrasing here because I can't find that topic) "the people have spoken". Good stuff lol.

Games / Re: Battlelog will not finish the install
« on: March 15, 2015, 03:33:09 AM »
Some fixes (that I'm aware of) for Battlelog being stupid:
1) Try a different Browser: Battlelog seems to hate Google Chrome quite a bit, firefox has less problems but Battlelog might just decide it hates you; IE is the best browser to use Battlelog on for whatever reason.
2) Uninstall and Reinstall: Uninstall the drivers from your computer completely and reinstall them; this will usually fix it.
3) The game itself is actually broken: For whatever reason, reinstalling the game when battlelog breaks, sometimes works for me.

Providing more information/screenshots on exactly what is going on would be helpful though, in case these don't resolve it.

tried messing around with building and i can't even build because i have a really weird mouse issue where when im panning around with the mouse the camera goes flying off in a random forgetin direction and this is the only game that does this

Because you totally don't have random mouse/input issues in other games x3.

Anyways it'd be neat to see the clan doin stuff again; maybe they can help me and Strat with our project, or whatever.

Unbelievably unacceptable business model cripples a product that barely had anything going for it to begin with, other than an interesting concept and developers who actually know how to make interesting products.

It will rip like Titanfall, for the same reason Titanfall ripped: Pretending it's somehow worth 60 dollars and the extra amount for all the DLC. Time for publishers to get the memo that they need to be more consumer friendly if they want people to actually buy their products.

people don't give grocery store goods bad reviews because there's an optional recipe on the back that requires you to buy more of their products.
Besides the obvious fact that buying a perishable good such as food is completely separate from buying a non-perishable videogame that will last forever...

It's more like the original product was say, chicken noodle soup, but says chicken not included on the bag, then tells you that you have to purchase the chicken from them and nowhere else in order to enjoy the product. Sure, you'll get some soup, and some noodles, but no chicken unless you want to shell out money for what you should have got anyways; that's about as close as I can make the comparison anyways.

its like drugs, they are illegal but people can still get them, same for guns
So what you're saying... Is that we should legalize all drugs? I'm down, but only if I don't need a license to sell them.

You say that like Spyro has had a good game since year of the dragon.
At least he was still a dragon before Skylanders. Now he's some creepy gremlin creature that I don't even know what to call.

https://mirillis.com/en/products/action.html

30 day free trial (All features unlocked, no stupid random watermarks), 1080p recording at a smooth 60 FPS and can condense movie files for you without any loss of quality or detail, I loved it so much that I actually bought it; never would have even considered that for stuff like Fraps and the like. Seriously this is by far the best recording software I've ever used.
