if you want sugarcane you just have to go anywhere and look around the water, if you get atleast one you can replant them and make infinite.

um so anything i need to know on planting them

oh cool i had a good idea, put a pressure plate inside your home so whenever you open the door and walk in it closes behind you :D

go to swamplands. look up the swamp biome on Google or something, they're commonly found next to water

forget stuff damn so i have to run into the wild and hope i get lucky

if you kill a pig with fire do they dropped cooked meat

reeds = sugarcane. people keep using different names for stuff and it's confusing. sulfur is gunpowder from Creepers used for TNT. reeds are sugarcane reeds.
