I can't wait to try it out with Swifty if you have it ready by next hosting.

In theory, the new weapon is not that great with Swifty, since his energy regen rate is relatively bad, and the weapon uses huge amounts of energy. Should be amazing on the Land dragon though! ;)

Also, I just finished up a new model thing.
It looks kinda like a bug..
But it's not quite a bug..
and it flies.

I believe it might also resistant to most negative effects...


I really can't say whether it will be done by Friday or not. But is Might be.

I never was really happy with it. It felt too cheapish.

I've been using the Fire Barrage for ages. :S

We've been doing things for some time now, though.

Also, the dragon bosses are getting another fire weapon. And it is pretty darn powerful.
Never mind I nerfed it, possibly too hard. We shall see during the server this weekend.

I've posted many images of the Powersuit over the ages. None of the above were included in the main picture post because the model is outdated in those. And the canon in the last image need so much work, that I didn't want to include it in the post. :P

You are using Blender, right? If so, then which versions of Blender and the DTS exporter are you running?

From my experience, the priorities and blending options should (USUALLY) go as follows:

>root                                  -> prio=0; blending=none
>look & headside               -> prio=1; blending=root
>standing side                   -> prio=2; blending=none; cycle
>standing forward & back  -> prio=3; blending=none; cycle
>crouch                              -> prio=4; blending=none
>crouch side                       -> prio=5; blending=none; cycle
>crouch forward & back     -> prio=6; blending=none; cycle
>jump & stand jump           -> prio=7; blending=none
>fall                                    -> prio=8; blending=none
>armReady & spear charge-> prio=9; blending=none
>attack, activate, & build    -> prio=10; blending=root
>death                               -> prio=11; blending=none; this animations MUST include keyframes for all bones. This will cause it to over-ride any and all animations

The above list is mainly a "starting point", and it will not work with all rigs/animations. I've had some cases where the movement animations had to be set higher than the attack animations for things to work smoothly. It really just takes some trial-and-error experimentation.

In the last pic, did you get killed by the boomer bug or was he just far enough away that you survived the blast?

Naa, I was on the bugs' team. It was kinda luck that I managed to catch that guy, since he just exploded randomly. :P



Ok, the Guard bug skeleton has been remade and improved upon. I even managed to salvage the animations, which is awesome (for me).

So yeah, I'll need some people to help me test it tomorrow/later today. I really hope this fixes the issue. :S

I think for #6 you could make it so the rockets bounce back until the Kaje boss is fully out,no?
or, like, put a no-collision shield in the entrance so the boss doesn't take damage until he's out and fighting.

No no, all that needs to be done is increase the mass of the mech playertype, and then increase the movement and jump forces so that it can still move. The only "side effect" is that the mech won't be knocked around by enemy weapons.

Speaking of Kaje, have you guys tried contacting him about the original mech model he made? Would make more sense to use that, IMO.
