ArmyUnit will be posting pics of the server for ppl to see. I wonder what fun things I missed this hosting.

Ugh, I forgot to take pictures during most of the server :S
I did take several though:

The Scorpion, Sand Parasite, and Tick can spawn here.

And here is the Guard bug ingame:


Also, changelog for this weekend (meant to post this earlier):



(notes/comments are in red)

==Trenchdig build==

-Moved the shotgun class to the "heavy weapons" wall. This should help reduce shotgun spam.

-Moved the bullpup class to the default group

-Added the Sand Cave (shown above) This should help reduce Sand Parasite spam.

-Added the Guard Bug (Current loadout: Big Bug Bite, Bug Acid Spit, Pill, digging tools)


==Balance==

-Increased the damage of the HFF slightly

-Reduced the radius of the HFF explosion projectiles slightly

-Increased the running speed of the security Scarab-Wasp slightly The Security S-C had a very hard time chasing down the little bugs that it was supposed to exterminate.

-Semi-fixed the Vein spider poison blinding constantly Kinda a band-aid solution, but it's better than nothing.

-Added a small delay between when the flash effects play and then the actual flash is applied for the Firefly Flash This should help people actually see who flashed them.

-Increased the jump height of the normal spider slightly The spider needs to be more agile.

-Fixed the console spam from the Dragonfly, and remove support use of the zombie mod


==Bosses==

-Fixed the TremorMite Poisoner Sting not always poisoning Hehehe

-Removed the inherited-velocity function from the dragons' fireballs I CAN ACTUALLY HIT THINGS YUSH

-Remade the charge animation of Glisten's Ice Spear The old animation is for another attack

-Remade the charge effect of Glisten's Ice Spear

-Fixed the Ice Spear not dealing full damage Can now one-shot ASNs, Earwigs, Sand Parasites, ect

-Fixed the Ice Spear not dealing radius damage




And I'm sure I missed some things.. :S
Also, the animations of the Guard bug are currently glitched. I'll try and get them fixed by next weekend.

I think the real problem is that nothing currently hard counters the worm. For now I suggest playing as the Anti-Riot Scarab-Wasp.

Does he like some of his dinner to fight back or should I be chained up and do nothing but yell and scream for help?

Swifty told me that he is in a good mood today, and that you can protect yourself with a stick and cardboard shield. C:

Server is going up (finally).

Will there be anything new on the server today or is it going to be the same as last time?

Also, does anyone remember me talking about the Giant Leopard Moth Caterpillar that my brother found? Well, atm he is making his web like structure for his cocoon and has been making it for the last couple days. I have a pretty good feeling that I will get to see a Giant Leopard Moth ether close to Christmas or something in January.
Some of you might not find that neat but I thought it was good enough to put on here.

There are new things.

I really like his design though, and the effects from his attacks are really nice.

Stumpy looks pretty cool and... stumpy. :D
So i assume that these are poison sentries that are armored (so they take less damage).

Seems like a great idea. :)

I'm still undecided on whether they should actually take less damage. The armor is more just to show that they have high health (for a small bug).

Some things (such as the Stag Beetle and Tick) will indeed take less damage from weapons.

and break it into segments so you'll have a cool looking bug.
I'm going for more of a beetle-like look, so I'd rather not split it up too much. I did split apart the back segment.

BTW, are you making a stag beatle that can charge?
I will be making a Stag beetle (Kevin already made the model ;)  Not sure I want to give it a charging ability though. I'll think about it.

I really like the version where the bug looks like it has armor on its back, that's cool.
I'm not a big fan of the double jaw thing ether. I think it should only have one jaw, it would look better that way.
I'm guessing the jaw was meant to look partially split to make it look deadly, but ya, it does kinda look like it has double mouths :S

And yes, I'm with the consensus that the armor adds to it's 'Guard' style and sets it apart from the Big Bug more. If maybe needing more details with that chitin.

I could make a tutorial about that. If I had the time motivation I definitely would.
