I haven't used it but if I understand correctly this only fires if they're still holding the button down. AFAIK there's no way to check for that with onRelay

Yea but onRelay does not have client/player/etc

Also this checks if you are holding the mouse instead of using vce

I was replying to Filipe's post. Didn't mean to be vague sorry  :S

Just depends on what you are used to.


I've used Blender 2.49b so much that it feels more comfortable to me than 2.7x :(

How would you guys suggest I go about setting up a VIP/leader gamemode with Slayer?

I know that there's this old gamemode made by HellsHero, but I haven't used it in years, and I suspect that it isn't so compatible with the latest version of Slayer (hopefully I'm wrong tho).

If that mod doesn't work out, are there any other ways I could get a VIP mode working? I'm going to need a setup where  only one team has a VIP, but being able to have one per team would be cool too.

Oh man, I'd recommend to not add this on a freebuild server or it will turn into a spamfest.

Couldn't people just use onRelay though?

In all seriousness though, take a look at both programs and decide which one would be best for you. Blender is super powerful and very much worth learning imo, but it can be a little difficult to grasp, so you might want to give sketchup a look as well.

I messed around with VCE for awhile but never really learned it, so there's that.

And I never did learn how to make maps, and I still don't know a thing about making custom environments (aside from image editing).
