I just did something incredibly unthinkable and unexpected.......
I worked on the gunship.
It is now server-worthy again, with an added feature or two..

I always have to set mine to either env. lighting and/or indirect lighting w/ app. gather method.
That way, it always looks smooth.
I think he's using smooth groups.
